Reliable
My service provider gave me a basic router so it was not up to par with all of our electronics. I upgraded to my NETGEAR AC1600 router and couldn't be happier. Reliable connection, user friendly app.

Good for only wireless or only wired, not both.
Segments wired and wireless traffic so nothing on wireless can reach anything on wired. If you have printers, desktops, laptops, cell phones, etc that need to communicate, you're just screwed because there's no way to turn it off. Forums are full of people complaining about it with no solutions. Doesn't seem like they're going to change or fix it, so I'm swapping for another brand.

    Great replacement easy to setup.
    Bought to replace 10 year old router. Old one caused slowdown and delays. New one works great and easy to setup. Only downside is I have to have WIFI password set. I prefer MAC address filtering.
