Excellent Router
I have fiber and wanted to use my own router rather than the one provided by Consolidated Communications. This turned out to be excellent and I can control everything either through the app or from the web page

I've had 2. They last 11-12 months.
I bought my first one for the parental controls. It stopped working after 12 months. I bought another one, hoping that was just bad luck. This one lasted 11 months. The features don't do any good if the thing doesn't work. I'm done with Netgear.

    nighthawk router disappointed
    received item quickly. appears to have been used since cables were unwrapped in the box and the supplied password will not allow access to the router configuration screen. Should have been listed as used in the listing and sold with a used price.

    If you enjoy frustration this router is for you!
    Just awful. The Android app for the setup absolutely did not work. The online setup was equally useless and could not login. Support and instructions are minimal. Avoid!

    Excellent smart router
    Provides excellent connection and speeds to all devices. Highly recommended going into desktop router admin login to turn on QoS. This will reroute traffic and improve your experience by redirecting bandwidth to devices that need it most, like streaming or gaming. Bitdefender suite of add-ons is exceptional, especially the VPN for devices. Also Smart Connect for optimal wifi speeds between 2.4 and 5.0 GHz. The app works perfectly for turning internet connection off/on for any device.

    Extremely Fast
    Me and my wife bought the netgear nighthawk AC2300 because we both game and stream movies and needed something faster then what was provided to us from our cable provider. We combined the nighthawk with the netgear CM1000 Ultra-High Speed cable modem with docsis 3.1. The setup with the nighthawk app is extremely easy and when setup it is extremely fast! Wifi signal through the house, I've had to use customer service before but not this time! Has a real nice sleek design! No more looking at the loading screen, no more pausing during shows or freezing when gaming, both me, my wife and our son can play and watch TV in different rooms with no lag at all! My wifes parents also had me pick up the same setup for their house and no complaints from them. Also if your kid gets in trouble and is grounded, use the nighthawk app and cut off the signal to their device, its that simple. Would definitely recommend to everybody

    Such an easy router to set up. Easily set up your own SSID. Easily manage all connected devices on your network. Tip: Set up this router with your current SSID and all of your connected devices will automatically connect to this router.

    Easy install!
    Initial installation done by setting up account on phone first with Nighthawk app since there was no internet connection. After that was done, installation included another phone, 2 iPads, 2 TVs for streaming, Kindle and WiFi printer. Note: put new network password directly on the printer panel to connect to WiFi. That took a while to figure out!

    Dope router
    I got this one cause my buddies at the AC1750 and I wanted that, saw this one had better speeds and range so I decided to get the upgraded version. Love it, literally have no complaints at all after about 30 days.
