Top End WiFi Router
Great home coverage with strong signal. Easy to set up. Great speed! If your home has many devices with gaming and video connections, this is the WiFi router for you. One caution - The router is very large, so make sure you have space for it.

Fast but not made for home/office use
The speed on this router is great but it does not seem to have been designed for home/office use as a secure and stable router. It does not allow for HTTPS admin access (their recommendation is to disconnect everyone from the network if there is a security concern). The QoS functionality has not been working for a long time and it doesn't seem like they're working very hard at fixing this issue - this is the only way to rate limit any connected device.

I had to manually switch off the 60 GHz band because we don't have any devices that use it. My only complaint is the "Attached Devices" only list 35 of my 55 devices for some reason. I had to download a third party app that actually shows all of our devices. (Fing is the app name)Alfred

Horrible signal.We bought this router because a guy from our internet company suggested this one for us to purchase since the provided one from them wasnt working great in our 2 story home however this new router was way worse than the one I started with as far as internet signal and way more expensive. Has all the looks of a great router. I was so excited because I thought I would have excellent internet afterwards......Just a big disappointment. I went back to my original router. Returned this new one. The sales clerk at the return desk said many customers have returned this item. Poor quality. We had Worse internet signal with this one than the router provided by our very well known internet company. Was very inconsistent and not reliable. Dont waste your money.Amanda

Did a lot of research and decided to try out the router and glad I did. Connection has been solid. Range is so much better than we had with cable provider modem/router combo. Also got the Netgear modem to go with this router which also brought speed up too.Michele

With Covid, now all my kids and wife are home on the network. I have a fast Gigabit ISP connection, but a basic router was struggling with so many people on the network streaming or video conferencing at the same time. Wifi Connections would drop despite being close to the old router. When I logged in to my router, I counted 35 devices connected as we have large family with several smart devices and security Cameras installed. That's when I did research and discovered this router. This router works great, It has a stronger Wi-Fi signal than my last one and is able to handle running a robust Wi-Fi home camera security system and the many devices connected to it with ease. One difference I noticed is Steam Stream, the ability to stream video games from my gaming PC to another home device. Despite having a Gigabit connection and using Ethernet cord, the quality of the stream was low as my basic old router struggled to support video game stream plus the many other connections at the same time. However with this NetGear router, Video Game Streams comes out crystal clear. During work/school hours, no one is loosing connection anymore and we are able to support video school live streams, work video conference streams, Netflix for the smaller kids, and YouTube for Grandma all at the same time in high quality with no issues.Chris
