Great product
This router delivered the kind of performance I was looking for, my previous Netgear R6300v wasnt covering my home. So I did some research online and came across the Netgear nighthawk X4S, which I didn't regret purchasing. I recommend to anyone looking for a good router with steady performance to try this router.

Beware of Netgear Routers. Buy warenty!!!
Started becoming unstable at 18 months. Unable to reconnect some devices to wifi. Stopped recognizing Ethernet cables. Cable plugs began to fail! I replaced it at 26 month with a TPlink Archer AX50, and I am sorry I waited so long! My life has become so much easier! I will never buy another Netgear Router again! They are built to fail and their support is expensive!

    Great router
    Router worked great for about 5 years but I wasn't willing to spend the cost of a new router on the insurance plan they wanted me to buy to help me fix it when It wasn't working. Overall really great router in the small house we have running LOTS of devices at once

    I have had this router now for over 3 years. It has never shutdown nor given me any connection or slow internet problems. I would recommend this router to anyone who plays videogames, uploads large videos, or just has a large family with many users.

    Great Router - Highly Recommend
    This router was replacing an older Netgear model. It arrived on time and was one of the easiest installs I have done. Using the Netgear app I had for my old router I was able to replace it and get the new one up and running in about 15 minutes with no issues. So far, it is running great, no WiFi drop-outs and MUCH faster. I highly recommend.

    Netgear is a winner
    I took about a month to review this product so i could have some time to use it and see if it delivered as promised. For someone who's been using routers for over 15 years, i'm giving this router 5 whole stars. I've been very impressed. Speed was instant compared to my older Belkin router. Very stable, haven't had a single issue since i turned this thing on almost 2 months ago. Range it exactly as stated. The router is in my upstars home office and i can browse the internet in my basement or even outside the house. This is my first Netgear product and i'll be sticking with them from now on.

    Great router for distants and speed.
    I have a 4K TV that I use wireless. Was getting a lot of buffering and hangups with my other router when streaming 4K content. I called tech support of the TV manufacturer who got into the TV remotely and said everything was fine with the TV and suggested it was a router or ISP problem. I get a constant 177 down and 24 up so knew that wasn't a ISP problem. Bought the Nighthawk X4S AC2600 wireless router. Very easy to setup, took about 10 minutes. That took care of my problem with the 4K streaming and get twice the coverage I had before with every wireless gadget I own. The unit is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
