I would not buy this product again.
This is the third filter we have bought this year for the same reason. A part that has a magnetic on it keeps getting a hole in it. This will be the first and last summer we use this pool and filter. Not happy with it at all.

    Jet has been great.
    After trying two other styles that did not fit, the third filter pump arrived quickly and set up easily. It is more effective than the old one, but still has poor suction of the pool water. This is the filter design and not Jet's problem. Jet quickly sent return labels, sent the refund to my bank quickly, and the customer service people were very helpful. Big thumbs up to Jet, but not so much to the filter pump. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    pool pump
    it was easy to order on-line and came within 4 days, when it was promised to be a week. the pump works fine. it is exactly like the pump that came with the pool originally. this is the 3rd pump I have had to buy in 6 years, but I run the pump 24 hrs/7 days a week for the 4 1/2 month summer season. so I don't think it is too bad.

    I bought this for my pool 8' X 30" it works great and I am glad that I bought it as the pump that came with the pool was not doing the job that it should have been doing.

    INTEX KRYSTAL CLEAR 1000 GPH CARTRIDGE FILTER/PUMP
    This was a replacement for my 4 year old same pump.... the magnetic impeller inside the old unit had corroded and would not turn. I tried to locate a new impeller but could not find one.... so I ordered a new pump from Walmart (best price anywhere!) on a Thursday morning and it arrived super fast by Canada Post (free shipping!) on Monday. (Mississauga Ont - Shuswap BC).... The only difference I noticed between the old and new unit is that the new unit has a GFI type plug (has reset buttons) instead of just a normal plug. (safety feature?) The unit comes with a very nice long power cord, uses filters sold in Walmart stores, and runs very quiet. It even came with new hoses and pool liner inlet and outlet caps and one new filter cartridge.... Working great so far... Thanks for the excellent service Walmart....

    Worth the money
    I had bought a summer escapes pool and a week later the pool pump died. I needed a new pool pump and found this one online . I was pleased with the price as it is the best price online for this product. The pool pump came in three days with their standard shipping. It was in a decent sized box which inside had the pool pump box inside that. To my surprise it came with the clamps, hoses, extra long cord, and the pump. The pool pump needed no assembly which was great. It was super easy to assemble and put together. I did not remove the connections that sealed my pool I just hooked up the new hoses to my pool. I connected the hoses to the new pool filter and turned it on . To my surprise this pool pump is amazing and way better than my old one. It was wonderful and had the water moving fast. I ran it for 4-5hrs in a 12ft pool which did the job. I would highly recommend this to anyone !!
