Zombie Slingfire
My 11 year old grandson wanted this so we purchased it online at Wamart.com with some other Nerf products like extra ammonition and actually another kind of Nerf gun & pistol. He loves the pistol, we had to exchange the other Nerf gun it kept eating the bullets and getting jammed up, then we had to exchange it for the Zombie Slingfire, which my grandson really enjoys, we have battles almost everyday after school with his Nerf, were both enjoying this!

Nerf vs Buzzbee
The Nerf Slingfire is a competitor with the BuzzBee Ultratek Sentinel.
Side by side they are very similar, but the BuzzBee blaster has cheaper feeling plastic that won't take abuse as nicely (it still holds up, but brand name Nerf guns are stupid strong.)
The Slingfire has an awkwardly thin trigger, and the stock is too narrow for comfort (it slips)
The Sentinel competing with this product has a nicer trigger, but the stock is shorter so it is more of a counterweight. The Sentinel, however, outperforms this by about 15 feet of range, and is cheaper than the Slingfire.
If you or your child are into modifications with your blasters, pick the slingfire, but if you want the performance immediately out of the box, and for less money to boot, pass this up and get a Sentinel from Wal-Mart instead.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/27/2015Kids... maybe. Adults... definitely!I play in a zombie larp (live action role-playing game) where we use nerfs to shoot zombies. To that end... this gun is fantastic. You can prime it and fire with one hand (with a little practice) and I have yet to have a jam. That's with adult hands. I believe the problem other reviewers are having with jams are due to the cocking mechanism and kids hands. To fire this gun you have to push the cocking arm ALL the way forward until it clicks, then return to the starting position. It's pretty easy to get almost all the way forward and then not be able to pull it back. It's not a design flaw, it's just something you'll have to help younger users to understand so that they don't try to force it (and potentially causing a jam or breaking the gun). For teens and up, cocking one handed takes some practice, but the end result is totally worth it. Even firing with two hands is pretty gratifying.AdamTheMook

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/19/2015Birthday Present for 6 yr old.A little too big for a six yr old. More for older kids. My son received this for his birthday. He cannot take clip out by himself without help. It does sometimes jam. I bought him the Nerf N-Strike Elite Strongarm Blaster. It is easier to load and shoots far away.rockmom918

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/18/2014Lovelywhen i went to walmart i was looking for the sledgefire(which is awesome) but i couldn't find it so i just bought the Slingfire instead. When i came home i unboxed the slingfire and filled the mag with darts and when I fired i was stunned by the power of this gun. This gun is so fun and powerful. it shoots darts really far and it is fun to reload because there are many tricks to doing that. Overall i love this product and I recommend it to everyone.Miitthegreat
