I see other reviews as good but my experience is that the signal keeps dropping or is weak in other room separated by wall.. is that something wrong with my service provider or the item is defective, need to check on that.

Don't purchase any refurbished products.
Have a hard time to set it up by self installation setting and or even by professional technicians from cox cable Finally it didn't work so send it back to seller Very disappointed !!!! I will not recommended

    Very slow
    It is not comparable with Xfinty ... I have 400 mbps speed but though this router and modem I get less than 100 mbps

    Happy with the performance
    Device is functioning well. So far it has been about 15 days of use. Looks a bit old as it is refurbished. But happy with the performance of the device.

    Works well as long as your in the same room
    I live in a studio apartment. The only room that isn't part of the main living area is the bathroom, which is around 20' from the router. When I'm in the bathroom; even with the door open; I lose my signal. Absolutely awful performance for wireless.

    Works well with Spectrum of NC
    The Netgear C6250 modem/router works well with spectrum of NC, and had no problems connecting to the cable service. I just wanted to upgrade from my old modem.

    Good equipment, that will last a few years!
    Pro: easy to install and start using immediately. Con: had to call the cable company to activate. Only two plugins instead of the usual four.

    Great Cable Modem With WiFi.
    Great Cable Modem With Builtin WiFi Saves you Money by owning your own unit over the cost of renting one and paying extra for Wifi, too. It was very easy to setup for a novice like me. We brought a refurbished unit at about half price of the new one with a warranty.

    Not what I needed.
    I've not taken it out of the box. COX came to install this so I could up grade my service to 1 GB. I was informed by the technician that this router was not as good as my current Netgear Nighthawk router and was suitable only for a small apartment. I'll be returning it for credit soon.
