Useless for Steam
This VR seriously sucks unless you want to only play games off of its built in store. It has the storage capacity of a tuna can and has like 3 decent games worth buying. The rest of the games I wanted to play were on steam. So I buy a USB-C to USB-C cable for my PC and plug it into the USB 3.0 and the screen goes instantly black every time. Oculus link says its cannot find the VR. So I move it to another 3.0 USB and sane thing. So I try the air link option using wifi. For some reason my PC won't connect to 5G so I use 2.4G and its really slow and laggy and badically useless. I reinstall Oculus just in case and got the 5G signal working, but now it won't connect to my headset. Seriously worthless and now I have to see if Steam will refund my purchases for VR games.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/04/2023It Works But The Games…It works just like regular no issues after having it for months now there’s just not a lot of fun games to play they need to start making and adding more it’s just the same ones over and over again plus most creators don’t really update there games because it’s just set to one thing/storylineS

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/31/2023I want to live virtual forever!!!!!!I love everything about this! I have never had so much fun playing video games in my life! And don't get me started about the theater style movies I can watch in my fancy living room inside the oculus. I would live inside there forever if I could lol.Unknown

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/12/2022Stay away, support has a bad reputation for reasonSo a couple days ago my quest 2 had a software update and after it was done i went to use it, Headset was just boot looping. I left it alone for a while, went to try in again a couple hours later and it was flashing low battery, yest it had been plugged in via link cable the whole time. It tried booting a few times, now it won't even begin to charge, no indicator light or nothing. Did every trouble shooting technique possible, eventually i contacted Metas and made a support ticket, and am being told it will take a few weeks for a replacement ( that will be refurbished) which scares me sine mine is immaculate. Now I'm, being told none are in stock, So its a $600 paperweight, along with a $80 cabl. Yet on their website if i buy one it'll be here in 4 days and m,y local walmart has 4 on the shelf. I've read the horror stories of their support online and didn't think it would happen to me, but it did. honestly Just buy anything else , wish i would have.Colby

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/25/2022It does not work without pairingThe item requires pairing with a cell phone to work correctly. I don't particularly trust Facebook to keep my data private, so I was reluctant. In the end, no worries: the headset will not pair with my phone, which Facebook says is a "known problem." Conclusion: don't buy hardware products from a company known for creating divisions designed only to farm you for data. Wait for Apple to make one.Thomas

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/23/2022Room for improvementsoverall the Quest 2 is fun to play and very entertaining and so far worth the cost. the downside is its slightly heavy and awkward. when playing beat saber or other workouts you sweat a lot and it slips interrupting game play. if you dont have the rubber cover it will begin to smell. I also wish the battery life would last longer.Jenny

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/18/2022A great way to enjoy VRI initially is not a big fan of VR, but after trying it with the Oculus, I found it really fun. It is indeed like a different kind of world. I only use it for some VR content and I generally have a session for like about half an hour which I feel quite comformtable wearing the headset. I am looking forward to trying out some games.Yuyou
