Very comfortable
This is my third Oral-B Thin Fit. It's the most comfortable over-the-counter night guard I have ever used. I recommend watching the YouTube video for fitting instructions. For me, the video is a necessary addition to the written instructions in the package.

Didn't hold shape when I re-shaped it
I was excited to try this dental guard to help with night teeth grinding. I followed the instructions on how to soften the guard using hot water to match your teeth. The first try went well but once I tried the guard for the night, I realised it was a bit loose. The instructions say that you can re-shape the guard so I went ahead and repeated the process...unfortunately the guard lost its shape and was not holding on to my teeth at all. I trusted a well known brand but it looks like I wasted money on this product :(

    Flimsy, ill-fitting and non-returnable
    flimsy and ill fitting. How does one return an item when it must be boiled, stuck in the mouth and fitted to a particular set of teeth before knowing how good it is or not? Nonreturnable and a waste of money.

    Snapped in half after fitting.
    I really wanted to like this product. Shaping is was easy and it fit comfortably in my mouth. (Also wore it with my CPAP mask and had no issues.) The problem was after the initial shaping, after I let the thing sit in the plastic tray to dry out and harden, when I attempted to remove the molding from the plastic tray, the molding snapped in half. It didn't break completely, it only fractured it. So I followed the reshaping instructions, hoping that would fuse the fracture back together. No such luck. Used the fitted piece for about 2 weeks and it has gotten progressively weaker. It feels like its about to snap in half for good. Gonna try a different brand.

    the safety guard that came with mines has an elevated ridge im sure wasn't supposed to be there. I don't know if i should contact Walmart to get my money back or oral b

    I love it!
    Great mouth guard! I had one professionally made for me 4 years ago and paid over $100 after insurance. But it was so hard that it made matters worse. I was really clenching my teeth at night my jaw was in so much pain. So when my dentist wanted to try a new, softer guard I decided to try an otc brand. This is a great guard! It fits perfectly and it's a softer bite. I was a little worried about the preparation instructions and sticking that hot tray in my mouth, but it was fine. Easy to shape and fits perfectly. I absolutely love it!

    This nightguard works great once I modified it. It took me several times to get a firm fit. The back part was too bulky so I trimmed it. It still did not fit tight on my back teeth. I trimmed it up just to cover the front six teeth because I had a nice snug fit on those teeth. Then on those areas that I cut and on the bottom edges inside and outside I used a lighter and gently warmed those areas and tapped them with my finger to smooth those areas over so there are no sharp edges. It fits firm and comfortably. My back teeth don't touch when my mouth is closed so it prevents the grinding and clenching.

    Compact, comfortable,and compatable
    Good fit and much slimmer than other bite guards, so it is easier to sleep while wearing it. I've tried many other brands over the years, even the ones that dentists made. They all felt the way I did when I was a kid and stuck a whole pack of gum in my mouth at once. This is not the case with the Oral B. They all stop the grinding so why not sleep better while you keep your teeth safe.

    I do a lot of teeth grinding at night and have tried other night guards. I'm sticking with this brand. Easy to use and adjust to your teeth. Very good written instructions. I'm able to sleep all night without feeling like I'm choking. My teeth and jaw feel better in the morning.

    This is the best purchase I've made in a long time. After my wiener dog chewed up my $250 custom made mouthguard, I was very upset. I saw this item at Walmart.com, and decided to give it a try. It was easy to customize it, and fits even better than the customized mouthpiece did! Thanks WALMART !
