Awesome iPhone Case
As soon as the iPhone 7 Plus was available, I ordered one and then had to decide on a case. I'd used an OtterBox Defender for 3 other phones, but my last phone I used snap on cases. I was very disappointed in that choice. I knew I would return to OtterBox, but I didn't want a defender again. My criteria were drop safe and aesthetically pleasing. I also wanted to see the Apple logo on the back of the screen, but several styles didn't have that hole cut into the back of the case. I ultimately decided on the Commuter for all of the above reasons, as well as the option of pink shell and case. I love it! I've dropped it a few times already and it did it's job. The only thing that has me stuck a little was how to fit it into the phone. I was used to the Defender, in which you put the hard shell on first and then the rubber case. This was the opposite when I finally figured out the hard shell went in last, but that was my own stupidity. I am thinking about buying the glass cover, but I'm waiting a little while for that.

Didn't like this one from OB
I love my old OB and I had it for so long I decided to get a new and different one! Wrong move… even though I love the color I don't like that I can no longer stand it up against most anything when I use my speaker phone… it falls down every time! The case is to slippery and in most cases easy to drop… even though OB is suppose to shield destruction who wants to keep having no kinda control over their phone… definitely would not purchase this case again!

    Solid all-around phone case
    The case is really sturdy without being bulky. It has held together well even though I fidget with it. I really like the little piece that covers the charging port to keep dust out. If you're looking for a solid, protective case, this is a good choice.

    Doesn't fit iPhone 8 Plus, I regret this purchase.
    I don't usually leave bad reviews but honestly this one really messed with me. I used the commuter case on my iPhone 7 for years with absolutely no problem so I fully expected this experience to be the same. I have an iPhone 8 Plus and this case simply didn't fit. But because I usually try to make things work, especially because I liked otter box I thought I could make it fit by cutting down the rubber on the two lower corners. Come to realize, it still bulges out no matter how much I try to push it into the plastic cover. So now not only can I not return it but it still doesn't fit. The photos attached are after I tried to make my modifications so the bulging was worse when it came to me. The first two are when it bulges at the bottom and the last two are when I put it on a different way and it bulges at the top. I tried putting it on in every way possible and no matter what I did it didn't fit. I regret this purchase. As someone who's been loyal to otter box since middle school I don't think I'll be continuing that trend.

    Very Happy!
    I've been looking for the best phone case for quite a while. I knew the OtterBox covers for the iPads we had for my students were very strong and sturdy, so I decided to get one for my phone. I'm not disappointed! I love the colors and I'm happy I was able to select the two colors I liked the most. The case looks great on my phone and I just love it!

    The best features are the hard shell and of course
    I've had this for a little over a month and the only thing I'm disappointed with is how dirty the rubber part is and maybe I'm thinking I should have got a different color

    Ok, but expected better
    I have had the Otter Box defender in the past, and with that I liked the build quality. So when I purchased the new iphone 7 Plus, I decided to try Otter Box's Commuter Series case. I mainly got the case for protection against drops. In fact the case seems like it will protect it very decently against drops, but there seem to be other issues. The case doesn't fit very snugly. I can easily move the rubber inner shell. With this, dust is easily collecting inside the case's edge. I also have the Alpha screen protector which I definitely do not like. Sorry OtterBox, but the screen protector does not fit well at all. The edges are not adhering to the screen. So with the dust issue above with the case, the dust is now easily transferring from the rubber case lip to the bottom of the edges of the screen protector. Now, I see over time that the screen protector may get worse with the accumulation of dust collection. If the case was a tighter fit, and if the screen protector were built better, than I would have different opinions. Manufacturing processes sometimes have rarities though, so I may just have a rare defective case/screen protector... I'm not sure. I should have bought the defender series case instead.:-(.

    The standard in integrity.
    I used the defender series for years (iPhone 4-6) and loved it. Looking for a slimmer design without compromising protection I had to look no further. The commuter series by otterbox gave me everything I was looking for. When the iPhone 7 released I ordered my commuter series case without pause and was pleased to see they improved the design and making it even more stylish and even slimmer. You have a loyal customer for the long haul, thank you Otterbox.
