Perfect fit
The case fits snug on my iPhone just like the Otterbox that I had bought for my 12.9 iPad a couple years ago did and still does. Holding my phone with it on there is much nicer now with the grip and thickness. Over the last two years my iPad has been dropped several times and has never been damaged, and I’m sure this Otterbox will provide the same protection for my phone. The feature I like best on both Otterboxes is that you can flip the clip/stand piece around and it totally covers and protects your screen. Also the built in clear touch screen protector works perfect and with the one on my iPad being over two years old I’m amazed that there’s still no blemishes/marks on it. It works and looks like the day I bought it, actually the whole Otterbox looks good still. The screen protector, and the drop protection that it has offered for my iPad over the years is why I purchased this Defender case for my phone.

Already scratched
It's pretty, but nowhere near as durable as my last defender case. It's been a couple weeks and it already has scratches on the smooth backside where the dots are. I had my previous case for years and never a scratch.

    Previously had one
    This is the second one I bought for my phone because the first one the charging port cover broke off. Other than that I was happy with the first one. The only question is why did you remove the window in the back where the apple showed through? I was afraid with charging port cover gone that the port would get dirt in it.

    Sweet case
    I had my last phone in this case. It took a severe beating and still worked. I wouldn't get another case for my new phone. Miss my Green Bay Packers logo, but like the camo until I drop it. Ha!!

    It’s exactly what it says it is
    It’s a great case! I love the color, a brighter blue than I’d expected, but lovely. You can just tell it’s good quality when you fit it on the phone. It’s snug and perfect and while I never feel completely safe with throwing my phone on my bed when I get home, this is about as close as I’ll come to that. The defender is fantastic protection. Well, I’ve only had this one for a week now, but I’m expecting it to stand up to my expectations. Had my other defender (on the SE) for 4 years before the rubber flap over the headphone port came off, and even then the phone was still safe (not a scratch, and I work on a farm and have done all kinds of crazy things with it untouched). Here’s to the same great lifespan with this one!

    Nothing better than Otter Box
    Dropped my phone & it got ran over by a forklift with a full pallet of pop. Easily 2500 lbs. My phone was still fully functional! Any other case & I guarantee my phone would’ve been dust. Upgraded my phone and they tried to tell me no Otter Box options available. So I ordered one online. Committed to you guys for life.

    Almost Indestructible
    I purchased an Otterbox Defender to protect my I-Phone 4s back in 2011. I have dropped this phone many times over the years, however, the ultimate test came when I dropped it from my tractor. My tractor weighs just under 8000lbs with the bucket empty, but on the date in question the bucket was full. At the end of the day I missed my phone so I backtracked where I had been and I found it. It had been not only run over by the front wheel of the tractor, but while the phone was under the wheel I made a hard steering to the right to clear an object that was in my way so my phone was ground into the soil by a heavy tractor. When I saw what had happened to my phone, my heart sank as I knew there was no way a phone could survive this. I brought the phone back to the house and started taking the Otterbox Defender case off the phone. To my surprise the phone was intact and still worked with not even a scratch on it. The otter box case was even able to still be used after extensive cleaning as the only damage was, that the hard plastic was chipped on the side. About a year later, I again dropped my phone from my tractor, only this time it landed face down in my gravel driveway and I again run over it with my tractor. Believe it or not the phone still works, however, it suffered a cracked screen this time and also it was time for a needed upgrade so I did not have it repaired. I purchased an I-Phone 7, and I again purchased the Otterbox defender to protect my new phone since I have come to know from experience that this case is almost indestructible.

    I love the case!
    I love this case! It's my first Otterbox! I brought it for my new iPhone 7 (Rose Gold) and it looks so pretty! I love the design of the case and the way it hugs my phone. I don't have to worry about the protection of my new phone and it looks cute! I love the purple and pink design on the back. I also love how the case comes with a screen protector built in and a holster! This was a great purchase. I'm just hoping that the case lasts for a long time & continues to protect my phone, especially because I'm extra careful with it!

    Good Protection, Bad Look
    I received many compliments on this case within just days of having it. It seems to do a great job protecting my phone, which is what I am most worried about. Although I like the case, I have only had it for a week and it looks extremely dirty. I wear a lot of dark jeans and put my phone in my back pocket often. The color seems to be wearing off onto the phone case. Obviously besides for protection I bought this case for the look so it is a bummer.
