Another winner
I've always sworn by Otterbox Defender. I work retail, so I'm always climbing up and down ladders. And naturally, drops happen. This updated design has firmer buttons, and the texture on the back makes it easier to hold onto.

Its a great cover
I have had this a week, the cover and clip holder for attaching the phone to a belt is great. The only thing I didn't care for is that Otter Box didn't say that the clip on belt holder was included in the cover box. So I ended up paying for one I didn't need.

They all have a leak around the edge that allows dust and dirt to get in between the phone and the case. I wind up taking the case apart periodically to clean up the phone and interior of the screen pad of the case. I also have a problem with dead spots on the screen where there isn't good contact and it will miss my taps. My iPhone 4s Otterbox Defender case didn't need this procedure done as regular maintenance, and it also seemed a bit sturdier. And yes, I do hang onto my phones for a long time, the 8 Plus was an upgrade from the iPhone 4s. :)NightOwl Designs

Its always somewhat challenging to get the case apart or off. Perhaps more detailed printed instructions with the box would help. But its a very functional case and that's why I bought another.lmwwmj

I bought the iPhone +8 plus when they first came out and my phone still like brand new the cheapest protection I've never even how do use my warrantee it has protected me from accidental spills all kinds of stuff I love them and I'm always bragging about them unlike other people running around with cracked screens thank you for such a phenomenal product I cannot rave about it enough. I had a previous otter box case and as a mechanic I'm hard on my phones. The best thing about the case I love is one time I left my phone on the back bumper and it fell off a diesel truck and I ran it over TWICE the only damage was cracked the corner of the phone case no damage to the phone, but there was tire tracks over the phone screen lol. Everyone in my family has an otter box case on there phone.Unknown

I had to replace by holster and case because caught on something and broke the belt clip off and the rubber case was loose and all stretched out of shape, but it still did the job.Dave

The more I watched the how-to video with that guy effortlessly slipping his thumb in and peeling it off, the more insane I got. Finally, with a knife and a lot of swearing, success! It reassembled easily. I appreciate the courteous, friendly and supportive responses from Otterbox, but I wish phone/online chat had been available instead of waiting for email responses when I was so exasperated.
