Don't order online
The case is defective, the home button does not work well and wont register finger print. Went to Wally World to reign as defective, however they say I only have 15 days for return. So much for ordering online - never again!

    Durable and Always Protects the iPhone!
    I only buy Otter Box phone cases cuz they're so sturdy! They never fail to protect my phone, just like this case. My phone takes regular beatings cuz I'm so careless and the case keeps it safe everytime. Highly recommend. Just be careful if you buy it in the store. It was five dollars more and I had to talk the cashier into honoring the internet price.

    Not so pleased with this item.
    Bought for my iPhone 8+. The overall design does not accommodate the 8+ very well. Had to remove the plastic screen cover as it inhibits touch function. Lower plastic around the home button is also an issue when swiping up from the bottom of the screen.

    Keeps my iPhone safe
    Keeps my iPhone safe. This is my second OtterBox defender for my current iPhone 8 S. It's heavy duty you can drop your phone on any surface and it will not be broken. The case is much heavier but I don't mind that because of the protection it affords me on my phone.

    I like it, BUT...
    I've had this one a while now, and have had three others. They all have a leak around the edge that allows dust and dirt to get in between the phone and the case. I wind up taking the case apart periodically to clean up the phone and interior of the screen pad of the case. I also have a problem with dead spots on the screen where there isn't good contact and it will miss my taps. My iPhone 4s Otterbox Defender case didn't need this procedure done as regular maintenance, and it also seemed a bit sturdier. And yes, I do hang onto my phones for a long time, the 8 Plus was an upgrade from the iPhone 4s. :)

    I had my first for ~3 years and it wore out (specifically the film over the thumb print window and the flap over the charger port). Its always somewhat challenging to get the case apart or off. Perhaps more detailed printed instructions with the box would help. But its a very functional case and that's why I bought another.

    I have been buying an OtterBox with every phone
    I love water bugs I've been buying and probably pretty well close to 15 years now I buy one with every phone I purchase does it matter for who my kids my brother my friends it keeps my phone safe from every kind of drop I have ever had and my phone always looks brand knew. I bought the iPhone +8 plus when they first came out and my phone still like brand new the cheapest protection I've never even how do use my warrantee it has protected me from accidental spills all kinds of stuff I love them and I'm always bragging about them unlike other people running around with cracked screens thank you for such a phenomenal product I cannot rave about it enough. You always make me a valued customer for life.
