Perfect for family camping!!
I have a family of 5 and we used this tent to go camping this past weekend. Set up was really easy. It took just a few minutes to get the tent up. It also happened to rain just a little bit on our camping trip, but the tent remained dry. There were no leaks at all. There is plenty of room for 2 adults, a teenager, and 2 smaller children. I highly recommend this tent to anyone needing a family tent

We love a Teepee, just not this one!
We are campers who enjoy a seriously easy set up. This TP was not it. We had the red n white 7 person Ozark TP for several years, so simple to set up. We got this one and here's what we ran into (btw I'm returning to store)... The whole tent was sewn crooked which prevented the poles to line up w/ tension rod. No amount of brut strength allowed the poles to snap into place We ended up, sliding pole towards center if tent. The back window has a gaping hole at top because of design and leaves a hole for venting. not a good thing to have w. beach winds whipping in at 50 degrees. Another change from the Red Ozark TP, they now have added dreadfull guidelines, so dum- thanks for the added trip hazaard. The red tent did have more pegs to hammer in but alas no guidelines! The new additions of a netted window in the door and inside window zips are nice. We got a little water inside when it rained. puddle here and there but overall dry. I put a photo of the back window because whoever thought this was a good idea should have included the info in the listing! I say back to the drawing board on this one Ozark!

Best tent I have ever owned!
Great price- $56 at Walmart (Jan. 2019). Easy two-pole setup (5 minutes for this 5'4”, 66-year-old, female). Light weight, but sturdy construction. Weather-resistant (no leaking at all provided you stake the guy wires before heavy rain storms). Damage-proof in strong wind (tent will collapse with 30-40 mph wind gusts, but the gusts cause the upper pole to lift out of the lower pole, so the poles are never damaged... just reinsert the pole and you're back in business). Huge tent bag expands to easily fit tent, poles, stakes (this tent folds up so nicely that I am able to fit other camping supplies, i.e. solar stake lights, insect repellent, hammer, padlock, tent light, etc., in the bag along with the tent). I've lived in this tent for nearly 2 years, and I have zero complaints. Easy up, easy down, perfect home away from home. I have owned 6 Ozark Trail tents (from 4-foot-high, 2-person to 16 x 16, 10-person cabin, and I have been highly satisfied with the quality, durability, and ease-of-assembly/disassembly of every single one of them, but this Teepee tent is my absolute favorite. It is roomy, yet cozy, and entirely hassle-free.

    Tent shape is as pictured
After we purchased a second tent (the first one was MIA from the delivery), we set it up. Took us a bit longer than 10-20 minutes to figure it out, particularly where to find the extension for the poles. We attempted to get the small flexible pole in the awning of the back with no success. My thought is that the pole is just a smidgen too long? The video states that the tent has 4 windows, yet ours has 3. Another minor discrepancy between the item description and reality is that the description says it's big enough for two Queen size air mattresses to fit comfortably. Reality: The full size air mattress we bought takes up a good bit of the floor space (granted the walls are kinda caving in on the bed, so it looks like nowhere near enough space). We were doing a trial run before actually getting to the camp.

    Nice tent
This Ozark Trail 7person Teepee Tent is very nice. I love the fact that you have the room to stand up inside of it. Set up was easy with only 1 and 1/2 people, me and my little one;) the only part I had trouble with was the last pole. There's plenty of room inside for a queen mattress and a twin with walking room. The bags states 2queen beds but there will be very little walk room! I like the covered window also and there's plenty of vent windows. The only reason for four stars is that three of the corners have areas where the tent material isn't folded and sewed all the way. I'm gonna try and use some tent fix stuff on them. We can't wait to use this at the lake when it gets warmer!

Lightweight Tent with No Center Pole
I've had this tent for over three weeks, but not planning to use it until this spring. I set it up in my front yard to make sure all the parts were there and no surprises with set up. The tent is lightweight and can be folded into a relatively small storage bag, along with the two folding poles and folding pole for the covered window. The two main support poles attach in the middle of the tent and extend to either side. I love that it has so few working parts, because I tend to be 'instructionally challenged'. I was able to set the tent up relatively fast, but couldn't figure out why it wasn't 7 1/2 ft tall at the center - which kept me from achieving a tight, straight, tall tent. I was just about to give up when I noticed that the instructions (which are sewn into the carry bag) said 'for more instructions on setup, go to walmart.com. So I did and I realized that the very bottom of the two support poles actually extend and lock into place with a spring pin/hole type mechanism. It took some elbow grease to get the bottom section extended enough for the pin to snap into place, but once I did that, it was perfect! There is a large covered window across from the zip-front entrance and two smaller windows with flaps that can be released to get access to the mesh windows. There's plenty of floor space, but I think 7 adults might be tight. I'd say to have some room for camping gear and room to move, 5 would be a better estimate. There are mesh storage pockets sewn in around the inside periphery of the tent, which is nice for storing small items light books, flashlight, bottled water, etc. Disassembly was quick, although I actually had to lightly tap the spring button at the bottom of one pole to get it to release. The instructions even tell you how to refold the tent to get it to fit back into the bag (but be sure to get as much air out first as possible). I think this tent is great for light camping in the Spring, Summer or early Fall, but for winter, you might want to find something made of heavier materials. I definitely recommend going online to review the instructions - had I done that, I could have set the tent up by myself in less than 30 min. (and I'm a 63 year old grandma). Great tent for the price and I can't wait to use it this Spring!

    Teepee tent sturdy
This teepee type tent is the very first tent of this style I have ever had. I am a well seasoned tent camper. I usually use my 4 person some tent that goes up in a split jiffy and requires no tension ropes. I was perplexed at how this tent went together. It seems to be nice quality and only 2 very substantial main poles and one very small tension bungee type for the back wind for great ventilation. I never could find the Walmart assembly video that they recommend but I did find several others to watch on YouTube - they didn't help me either. This tent is absolutely huge- once I got it up!! 7 ft middle ceiling height and easily sleep 7or 8 people with no problem. It does take some patience to get the poles in the correct positions. I am used to having little pockets to put the poles into on each outside sleeves but this tent is made really differently. I admit I was perplexed and a bit frustrated about this tent but I did finally figure it out! I like it -but do I love it ?- not yet but maybe after put it up and take it down a couple of times it will become my favorite. My son - the lifelong scout -does love it.

    I Love The Size!!
This tent is really roomy & gives a different perspective with it's six sides and large windows. It's also quick & easy for two people to set up. One person could do it with little difficulty except one of the poles takes some strength, they're tension poles & one is harder than the other to click it into place, other than that it's a piece of cake. But really, when you get it set up you'll see WHY the tension HAS to be that tight. The weekend we used it was overcast with light rain, I was very glad I had sprayed it with seam sealer soon after taking it out the box, no leaks, actually quite comfy! The only thing I can say in the negative about it is the doors zipper is a bit awkward, and honestly, calling it a negative is a bit overdramatic, it has a tendency to get stuck in the tent material when zipping UP. But overall it's a 2 Thumbs Up for us! We thoroughly enjoyed it!!

    Great tent
Great roomy tent. The instructions are sewn into the bag so always handy. I'm not sure about 7 people unless they are small but 5 adults could sleep in it with sleeping bags. It was easy to set up, took 2 people about 10 to 15 minutes. The windows and door are nice and zippers are easy to operate. Has an opening for electrical plug. The instructions told how to fold up also and it fit back into the bag, a big plus. Overall a great tent.
