Info with splitter says it supports up to 1080p. Also says it supports a PS-3. PS-5 now available so I suspect this device is out of date. Works fine with 1080p resolution.john

Please note, it takes 3 HDMI INPUT and has 1 HDMI OUTPUT. So for example, you can connect your Bluray player, PS4, and your Xbox one to this, and they all share a single HDMI output to the TV. Setup is very straight forward as plugging in the HDMI cables and then plugging it into your display. There is a single "select" button on top that you push and cycles through the different inputs. Also, there are lights above the inputs. So it lights up when that input is selected. That's a nice added feature. Overall, I would recommend this to a friend. It's very helpful if you have limited HDMI inputs.reviewMD

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/23/2019Plug and Play.Simply put, this device takes up to 3 HDMI output sources, DVD players, video game consoles ect, and relays the active one to a single HDMI jack on your TV or HD monitor. If you have an older TV like me (with only a single HDMI port), or maybe you have used up all available ones, this is the answer. It supports resolutions from 480i/p up to 1080i/p and a bandwidth of 6.75Gb/s. The cord to plug into your TV is only 2ft, but supports up to 65ft extension of 24AWG cable. The active switching is automatic, but there is also a button to select the source, and each input has a blue, I`m active led. Hookup took just a minute, you can lay it down, or use the two mounting holes included. With the cable playing, the DVD player caused a switch when I turned it on. After shutting the DVD off, it switched straight back to the cable source. Not much else to add, does the job simple and easy.bobk100

It has 'smart' automatic operation and a feature with key-press-switching function. It will support Blue-Ray, 3D, Cable Box, PS3, Xbox36, etc. It comes with one fixed 2 foot HDMI cable (pigtail) and is Plug and Play, no more cables or adapters needed. It has HD Audio and HDMI 1.3b; 1.3V signal in, 1.3V signal out; HDCP Compliant; - Supports 12-bit Deep Color; beautiful, sharp HDTV resolutions up to 1080p, 2k, and computer resolutions up to 1920 x 1200. This 3x1 HDMI switch selects a single output from up to three devices for signal delivery to your HDTV. The pigtail HDMI output must connect to TV's HDMI input directly. The auto / smart switching feature is based on input power sensing, the switch will automatically switch to the newly activated input. We're enjoying this because we can have the blue ray and two games plugged into it and the splitter automatically switches from one device to the other as you turn them on. I am a gamer who has always had a Playstation, but my son loves the X-Box. With this 3 port HDMI Splitter I was able to hook up both systems to the television. It's high performance too. I can easily switch to 3 different sources using the key press function or the intelligence function. It routes high definition video in multiple resolutions starting at 480p and up to 1080p. The input accommodates the connections in many sources, HD-DVD-SKY-STB-PS3-X-BOX, etc. The output sends the high definition, audio, video, signals to a high definition display. All in all you get 3 HDMI inputs, 1 HDMI output, and a built in LED indicator. The cord is 2 feet 3 inches long, but will support up to 65 foot of added cable, not that you really need that, but a plus. The unit itself is black and will match the HDMI cable. It is also compatible with projector, Blu-ray Players, AV receiver, Computers, LCD, Plasma, DLP TV Color, and Black. If you have multiple gaming systems then get this Switcher splitter.
