Not so much
We have enjoyed Major Dickason's Blend for over five years. It truly is the best part of waking up, and after experimenting with different coffees, it's the best. Sam's price for whole bean is also the best, so I thought we'd try it. It's only available to order, but being able to grind it in store, it seemed like a great idea. Best coffee at the best price, right? My wife and I agreed on our first pot - it was flat, lacking parts of the complex flavor we love. As a coffee, it's a 5, but in this version, it only rated a 3 at best. So, we are back to paying more, but enjoying it more, too.

    Great flavor
    I've tried a lot of the Peet's coffee in dark roast, my go to. All I've tried are good and I get whole bean and grind myself for freshness. Great price on this at Sam's.

    Peet's is an excellent choice and coffee. The K cups, whole beans or ground beans are a very good purchased and you can't go wrong. You will be ready to meet the day after this cup of coffee.

    Nice roast
    The flavor is nice and rich. Peet's coffee is some of the best. The only downside is how acidic this blend is. I prefer to drink black coffee, but require a small amount of cream in this blend to cut the acid.

    If you like full-bodied, yet smooth coffee, this is for you. The instructions recommend 10 grams of beans per every 6 oz. of water. This is the strength thatI use, and I love it. This roast is not as bitter as, say, Starbucks house blend. And the price is better than you will find anywhere, whether grocery stores or Peet's website.

    Good coffee for price
    A friend of mine told me about this coffee and it never disappoints. My only issue is this purchase and the last bag I got were already past the "freshest buy" date. I bought it in October of 2020 and the freshest by date was August 11 of 2020.
