I love this kit! I have been looking for something of value in my price range. It is very well made. Just need some helpers. Don't try it by yourself like I did. Thankfully my neighbors came to help. It is gorgeous and sturdy and I love love love it. Finally I can enjoy some shade on my patio. I'm so very happy.

Smaller than expected- arrived damaged
Poor Packing, no padding or space between box and product. Delivered via UPS- I heard the box drop on the corner of my porch. They were calling for rain and I had to move it onto the porch to keep it from getting soaked. Opened to find it damaged, with a very small footprint (area between the posts.). I thought that the photo on Walmart was for a smaller version, but it is not. Now I have to figure out how to repackage and return it or replace it (box was 120lbs, and over 8'). Not sure if it is worth replacing- I can't imagine UPS EVER getting one here undamaged.

    This is a beautiful pergola. My issues are that it came dented so we put that leg in the back. The instructions we a little difficult to follow. It took 3 of us to figure it out and then to get the legs on you need strong guys and a couple of ladders. They should have video instructions online. We got it together but the shade came out backwards because there is a certain way it should be put together. We had already bolted it to the deck and put everything together before we realized it. We left it alone because we were tired out in the heat. One day we may take it apart and turn it 180 to the correct direction. It's up and beautiful. It took about 2 hours.

    Nice but fabric isn't best quality.
    looks very nice but the fabric cover started tearing in less than a year. Now there are holes in it.

    Fine with me may not be for you.
    Ok for the price its ok. But when you try reach seller you cant so if you missing parts or have dents. Forget trying to reach them Ive spent 2 hours n no such luck. One dented pole n missing 17 screws which I had to make a trip to Rural king n replace. We faced the dented pole in the rear. I was in menards they had same pergola but smaller for close to $700 so its worth it if you dont mind the trip to store n one dent. I love it though.

    Beautiful addition to my deck
    I bought this for my deck and exceeded my expectations. The instructions was not detailed enough but we figured it out. The quality is not the best but for the price I think it is acceptable. I am not expecting it to last for more than 2 years before the canopy starts ripping. But I love it. If you want a better quality buy the $1200 plus ones

    Well worth the work of assembly!
    I was skeptical but I am beyond happy with this! The assembly wasn't a walk in the park but when you consider this is half the price of most structures this size its well worth it. One of my corner posts arrived dented but I was able to straighten it back out. The sliding awning is a great feature and slides nicely. We bolted it down to a wood deck and its sturdy in the wind. I do wish the awning removed easily, Im nervous to see if it withstands a Michigan winter. Over all very happy with it!

    Our deck is 12 feet wide and 30 feet long. I thought this pergola was 12 feet wide and 10 feet long. No, it is 10 feet WIDE and 12 feet long. Had the measurements been what I had thought they were, I would love it. Unfortunately, because the dimensions are switched there is an awkward dead space between the legs and our deck rails. I guess that space is fine, thats where we ended up putting our grill but I think it would have looked cleaner going all the way to the deck rails. The instructions are not the best, but they are not the worst either. It took 2 1/2 hours to assemble. The worst part was lifting the top onto the legs and fitting them together. I suggest having a few people to help with that portion. All in all, for the price its a decent pergola and I would buy it again.

    Should have got something better
    total garbage. at least 5 missing pieces, the rest of the pieces had some kind of damage(dents, scratches, ripped steel). The instructions were terrible too. Spend a little more and get something better............this must be from Sub-Par Homes

    Very nice looking but canopy is cheap and flimsy with small holes in it...manufacture is sending another canopy so hoping it's better. Rain cover was worthless... shredded from rivets after one week.
