Nice Sound Bar with Subwoofer!
This is a great sound bar! It took a little while to get the subwoofer paired, because the quick setup sheet really doesn't tell you how, but I just looked at the manual online and it was easy. The sound is so much better than my last sound bar that didn't have a subwoofer. Such a difference! It was easy to get it so I can adjust the volume on my TVs remote too.

    Very poor quality
Keep your money in your pocket it is true you get what you pay for and it's definitely not worth the trouble after 5 days the subwoofer went out

    Do Not Buy
The sound quality Sucks, especially the box speaker. You have to turn the volume up on the remote every time you use it (REALLY!!!), you would think it would retain that setting.

    should've bought new!
i purchased this item on March 26 2022. it's now July 2nd and for the past 2 weeks i've battled with this thing, trying to get it working. it worked, intermittently, the last 2 weeks. Now, only the sub-woofer works correctly. i guess i should have spent the extra $60 for a good one!

    Low quality, just avoid it.
It has poor blue tooth connection with poor audio quality and volumes. Now the sound bar is completely broken. It's been in use only six months. It has a one year limited warranty, yet there is no indications how to claim the warranty.

    adequate system.
The price and shipping were great. The bar has clear sound and vocals. The sub is a bit rumbly at close range, so it needs to be redirected away. And nothing is ever loud enough for me.

doesn't work and Philips has the worst customer services! They have had me call multiple times, send multiple emails... and for 3 months Ive been waiting for a refund. I will never purchase a Philips product again. Complete waste of money.

    Deception, bad product
I installed the sound system. I tried many ways but unfortunately the sound system was broken. I'll have to take it back to Walmart.

You have to fiddle just a little
I paid $69, a good buy at that price. Using in living room of an apartment. It's perfect for what it does, 2 channel stereo with woofer giving solid but not overwhelming bass to disturb neighbors. I connected with HDMI arc to TV. I had some of the same issues at first getting things to connect. I eventually got the woofer bluetooth to pair to the bar (once all connections were in place) by unplugging the soundbar then plugging it back in. Not sure if that's what did the trick or it was just a matter of patience allowing the devices to pair. I had to adjust the audio options on the tv, such as switching the output of the tv to external speakers. Also tweaked the audio options on the tv (Dolby compressed - which really opened the sound and volume - as well as other audio settings to get the best sound). I also used the tv settings to sync with the soundbar to power on and off with the tv controls. You can still power the soundbar by remote when using the soundbar for other devices (bluetooth, etc.), but this way I rarely need to use the soundbar's remote. The soundbar remote does seem to work better when pointed downward at the device. Ours is tabletop and the remote doesn't work level with the device, but works fine raising an arm to send the signal. Volume controls: You can adjust the levels with the soundbar remote. But also remember that you can raise and lower the sound on the device you have connected (unless you have synched them like we did with our TV). If your device is at max and the sound is loud or soft, adjust the volume on the soundbar remote to find a comfortable max level. Then you can use device's control to volume of what you're listening to (it's usually quicker and more precise). Cons: -The instructions are vague. - Angles for using the remote may be uncertain. - There's no way of indicating what volume level the soundbar is on. The light will flash when raising or lowering the volume, but there's no indication of where you are set relative to its range of volume. Pros: - It sounds good. It's just a nice simple speaker system. It's won't fill the room like a 4 or 5 channel surround, but what it puts out is pleasing. Music sounds good on it. - Price. Sale/clearance price just under $70 is a good buy for this level of product range. I had many of the issues other reviewers had, but with patience and adjusting the audio options and experimenting with the settings on the devices (esp. the tv), I have it where it does what it's supposed to do. I'm happy with it.
