The future of bottles is here
This is truly a state of the art bottle. I’ve had it a few weeks now and it is our new go-to. I left the baby with daddy a for a few hours and was apprehensive as to if he’d take the bottle since he’s very happy with the breast. Dad says he drank it all and there was no gassy tummy afterwards. He has been difficult to get to take a bottle, so this was a win for us and for me. I dream of those few hours I can leave him with dad every now and then for me time! Pros * The vent is an amazing concept. What a great idea to vent the bottle at the bottom! * I love the angle. It’s makes for easy feeding while out and about. * It’s easy to clean All in all we are very happy with the bottle and the design. I think this bottle would be great for families with babies who have colic. My only complaint is, there’s only 3 bottles in one package, and you can easily go through that many in a day. Thanks again to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this bottle!

They leak !
I have bought so many of these exact bottles. They end up leaking out of the bottle everywhere. they are the only bottles my disgusted will take and i swear i have bought exactly 10 bottles since she's been born in august. They have all leaked out of the bottom or side. it sucks ! The newest one i have provided a photo as well. It leaks out of the top now!

    Vented rubber bottom
    Where can I find the replacement pieces for the bottom of this bottle other then they don't last long and makes the milk leak and I have to buy a whole new bottle I like it. One bottle I have used with my bio son and foster babies love it don't want to switch but I am spending more money in replacing the whole bottle!

    Great bottle, too fast nipple
    We have a 3 month old baby who is exclusively fed breastmilk, but gets a bottle of pumped milk occasionally if mom is away. Thanks to the Stellar Review Testing Panel we were able to try the Ventaire Bottle. I loved this bottle, the whole idea of it is amazing. It’s easy to hold, it’s easy to store, it’s easy to fill, it does a great job of eliminating air so baby doesn’t have gas. We pace feed our baby with her bottle, meaning we hold her in an upright position and we break the suction frequently to allow her breaks. This way of feeding mimics more what she’s used to at the breast. This bottle is shaped in such a way that it makes it easy to do so. The thing I disliked most about this bottle was the flow of the nipples. I was originally sent a medium flow nipple with the set. This was too fast. After writing a short review, the company offered to send me some slower flowing nipples to try as well. I thought that was an amazing out reach for the company to do. Upon receiving the slow flow nipples, we tried again. Even still with these slow flow nipples, the flow is too fast for my preference. Our IBCLC instructed us to use the slowest possible flow of nipples. With another brand we use, we’ve found success with their preemie nipples. I’m not sure if the VentAire has an even slower flow nipple available, but I know the slow flow was still too fast for us. I loved everything about these bottles, except the nipple flowing too fast which could ultimately lead to my baby preferring the bottle over my breast because she has to work less at the bottle. I wanted to love these bottles so much, the nipple flow is just too fast for us. Thanks again to the Stellar Review Testing Oabel for sending us these bottles to try.

    Cool new bottle shape
    First and foremost, I’d like to thank Stellar Product Testing Panel for the chance to review the Playtex VentAire Bottles! These bottles are renowned for their innovative design to help cut out colic. We’re very lucky in that our baby doesn’t have colic, but we’re always up for trying new things. When we first tried the bottles, the nipples included in the trial had too heavy of a flow. We reached out to Stellar and they passed our concern along to Playtex, who graciously sent us a slower flow nipple. That went a long way for us and the new nipples helped. I believe honesty is the best policy, so I’m going to keep it real, even if it goes to show I don’t always have it together over here. My only qualm with the VentAire Bottle is the amount of parts. It’s not an easy 1-2-3 like others I won’t name here, which makes it difficult to wash and/or put together in the middle of the night when the baby is whaling for her mid-night bottle. While these bottles aren’t the best for us now, the design is so dynamic, Playtex is a solid brand we trust and, you never know, our next one may have colic, so these will be sterilized again and put away for safe keeping.     Ditch the Parts!
    Reflux or gassy baby mommas rejoice! These bottles are amazing! First, let’s state the obvious ergonomic design that make it easier for you to hold and feed baby in an more upright position. The wide design especially great for pouring in powdered formula without spilling it all over!! And finally- no special brushes needed or 1000 bottle parts laying around to clean! You simply unscrew the bottom and the valve piece comes out and silicone that is so super easy to clean. The numbering on the outside of the bottle is also very clear making it easier to see and get an accurate measure. I knew these were actually working because I could physically “hear” the slight squeak when baby would suck really hard and could see the bubbles rise to the end and not stay in the nipple. My only drawback was my baby is extremely picky and would have a harder time trying to get a good latch and seal on the more slender nipple. We are working on it but I will always recommend these bottles for any mother’s battling reflux or sensitive tummies. So thankful to have received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and helping us mommas find the very best for our babies!

    Good bottle
    I recieved this bottle set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I liked this bottle but did not love it. I like the design, it looks nice and I did love that this is super easy to clean! It comes apart into six pieces that are very easy to clean. I thought it was easy to put the bottle system together but due to the quantity of pieces per bottle, my husband had a tough time. If you only ever use one bottle it may be ok but washing all three bottles in the set and trying to get pieces back where they belonged was a bigger challenge than he wants in a bottle. I can understand and totally agree when you have a crying baby. Also, ours tends to get very hangry. I did also love that the bottle cap attaches to the back end during feeding. This was amazing for avoiding lost lids after a feeding. I did not notice any differences in my 6 month old being less gassy or spitting up less but I also didn't notice any increase. She had no issues taking this bottle and enjoyed holding it herself too. The angle was interesting to me, it was easier to feed more upright but my daughter prefers being less inclined. My least favorite part is absolutely the quantity of pieces. I do appreciate the ease of cleaning but I would prefer a happier medium. Overall this is why the bottle was a four star instead of a five.

    Love the angle.
    I love how the bottle is shaped and angled, it makes the flow of milk easier and my baby can sit upright while feeding. My favorite feature is the bottom which prevents baby from swallowing too much air while feeding. My baby doesn’t spit up as much as he used to before we started using this bottle. The nipple is very soft and doesn’t collapse while feeding. It’s just the right flow for my baby so he can control how much he swallows. Every part can be cleaned thoroughly because they come apart completely. One advice is to make sure to tighten the bottom properly each time to prevent any leakage, I found out the hard way. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this bottle.

    Disappointed
    I purchased 2 packs of the 6 oz and 4 packs of the 9 oz bottles from Walmart. And they were great, until they started leaking. There is nothing more upsetting than trying to make my baby a bottle, and hearing her cry and I’ve got bottles that won’t stop leaking and I’ve got to pour formula into another bottle just so I don’t keep losing milk. I’m very disappointed. I wish I didn’t invest in so many bottles. I also wish I went on this site and looked at the reviews before I purchased them. I would have rather paid a little more for better quality bottles.

    Playtex always gets it right!
    I started using playtex bottles for my son since day one because I had such confidence in playtex after using many of their products for many years. My son is breastfed and has never had any issue switching between breast and playtex bottles and nipples. The bottles keep he air out and keep his gas down and nipples are most like the breast. I tired other bottles with less parts but always game back to playtex because my son preferred them and the nipple flow sizes are great for breastfed babies. Other brands size 1 flow nipples were too fast. At 7 months my son is still on size 1 flow because it most resembles the breast. The bottles are easy to assemble and desemble and it's easy to find replacement parts. The bottles are much cheaper than some of the newer popular brands but as I said before, you can never go wrong with a playtex product. They are reliable and affordable and have consistently beat out their competitors no matter what the product is. I will always be a loyal playtex customer because the quality and consistency cannot be beat! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
