Great product for everyday!
I have owned several presto griddles but this one heats more consistently and has no hot spots. The cooking area is huge - I cooked a pound of bacon, six eggs, had room left over Moved bacon to warming tray and made grilled toast!! Good to make a quick grilled chese sandwich, warm over pizza in a little olive oil (try it, you'll love it), make an egg sandwich (cook the egg, brown the toast all at the same time). I have already bought another one for my outdoor kitchen. You can't go wrong with this product.

Expected better
CONS - Perimeter element so center of cooking area stays 25-40 degrees cooler than the edges. Cooking surface has slight depression in middle and pops (you can hear it) in and out as it cools and heats. Extremely small hole for grease drainage. Power cord is only 30". Does not fit in dishwasher unless you use a whole shelf and lay it flat which doesn't really let it get cleaned well. For $40, I expected a better product. PROS - Large cooking area. 4-5 large or 6-7 small pancakes fit fine. Holding tray/splatter guard/warming cover works well and is heavy non-melt plastic. Grease tray held a full pounds worth of bacon grease with a little room to spare.

    Great Griddle! Just bought my 3 one after 12 years
    Great griddle, this is our third (in TWELVE YEARS!!) after wearing out the others as eventually the heating element seems to make the nonstick surface darker. This model is a wal mart exclusive. It has a larger cooking area than most, heating is even, and it cleans up nicely. We have never used the "warming tray" so we just recycle out that plastic part. This griddle is sturdy, well made, the non stick surface stands up well and the price is good. Great product!

    More Griddle Than I Bargained For
    So far this griddle has lived up to its prior reviews. Like most non-stick griddles it is easy to use, but it is clearly bigger than I needed. My main reason for buying this griddle was the 5 star rating. As it turns out it is more of a family size griddle. I live alone and seldom cook as much as is displayed in the pictures of this griddle. At this point I have only made bacon on the griddle and since it is non-stick the cleanup has been easier than other pans. Even though it is submersible for cleanup without the power cord, it is too big for complete submersing in my kitchen sink. I haven't yet tried it in my dishwasher. I should have opted for a smaller easier model. The brand is excellent. Everything they advertise. I use the warmer tray for a splash guard so far and it works fine. If the griddle fits in my dishwasher for cleaning it will make cleaning easier. I only awarded 4 stars for this griddle because of the size not being right for me. For a family size meal this griddle would be great.

    Great griddle for everything, especially breakfast
    We bought this griddle to take the place of a stove when we were moving since our stove was not installed yet. This griddle surpassed our expectations and we will continue to use it before we fire up the stove. Its large cooking surface is really great for breakfast since I can cook all items at the same time and that is a time saver.

    Excellent Griddle!
    I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived, it was larger than I had thought. The warming tray is a great addition for covering foods to melt cheese and also to use as a "back splash" to keep stuff from popping out towards the wall.I have even used it to place my already cooked bacon and sausage into while I finish my other foods. It's so spacious that I can fix enough food for the whole family at once which means less time in the kitchen for me. I have found this griddle to be very easy to clean and my food does not stick to it which is great! I would definitely recommend this to my family and friends.

    I love the extra warming tray
    We bought this for our camp because of the warming tray. I couldn't find another one that could touch this price that had a warming tray. We tend to cook for more people up camp and also have more for meals. This will keep our bacon or hashbrowns warm while we cook the eggs.

    It has a very large cooking surface but it advertises to be dishwasher safe, however then when you receive it the instructions tell you that if you place it in the dishwasher the chemical could cause the surface not to be as non-stick. Not totally disappointed with it for that fact but it should be taken into consideration if anyone else wishes to purchase this item with that extra feature as a bonus.

    I bought this griddle to replace a broken one. It does meet my expectations and then some. It is wide enough to cook up more items and the attachment does keep things warm. I like that it also acts as a splatter cover for burger patties. Would recommend for light indoor cooking.
