Passes our two cat test!
Nothing works like this cat litter. I have two cats who us two boxes, one box is conventional and the other is automated to scoop the clump into a cartridge. You cant tell we have cats with this litter. It blocks the smell and clumps tightly, it is efficient as well, and I dont have to keep refilling the boxes every week. One 20 pound easy to lift box is enough to last us two to three months. One thing I really like is that the clumps dont braek apart as other brands have. The smell is absorbed and does not reappear when the clump dries out like other brands can. However, the smell is not overwelmingly fragrant as if one was trying to mask the offensive odors with perfumes. I have a relative who hates cats, last time he came over he congratulated me on getting rid of them. I just laughed, my secret is this cat litter. I'm sold on this product.

Disappointed
The delivery service had thrown the box so hard that both litter contains were damaged and half of the little had emptied into the box. Delivery service deserves an F-.

    I really like this cat litter it works great
    I really like this cat litter it works great it's best if you use 3 to 4 in like it says don't put the whole pill in a large cat litter pan due to the fact that it will hold smells change often and use as direct our cat loves it low tracking kills the urine and ammonia smell. PS and our cat said she was it too.

    The ingredients of this cat litter that Purina was willing to share, are montmorillonite, sodium bentonite and an herbal green lavender and fruity perfume, which I didn’t care for. Montmorillonite is hydrated aluminum silicate minerals that expand when they get wet. Purina makes five claims about Tidy Cats Clumping Cat Litter for multiple cats. 1. That its 99.6 % dust free. 2. That it locks in moisture. 3. That it makes strong tight clumps. 4. That clean up is easy and 5. That it attacks three key odors: ammonia, feces and urine. After using it for a week, I can tell you what to expect. 1. I saw no dust while sifting out the waste matter. This makes it true to the sodium bentonite’s nature. Highway crews use this kind of clay to cut down on the dust. 2. There was no standing puddle of urine in the litter box. The only evidence I saw was that after the white coating is washed off the litter, the natural color of sodium bentonite is exposed. In this case it is dark gray. I learned that there are various kinds of clay, but montmorillonite and sodium bentonite are 8 times more absorbent than others. These compounds are so effective in locking in moisture, that the U.S government ordered that it is to be used as a sealant for toxic waste disposal. 3. Yes it makes tight clumps called muck. But if you have to scrape it off the litter box, it comes off in clumps, and little pieces that are too small for the scoop, are left behind. 4. Clean up easy? Uh huh. Buy a metal scraper. Trying to remove this drying sludge with a plastic scoop reminded me of drying cement. 5. Though the little pieces of waste remained in the litter box, I couldn’t smell anything except the cheap smelling deodorizer. But that was if I sealed up the collected untouchables. I think it did a better job in suppressing odors than any of the scoop-able clay litters and one cheaply made brand of pine litter I am using. The funny thing is, despite its gummy nature, I never saw a mess in the cats’ paws. But what I did notice, was that I was sweeping up about ¼ cup of cat litter off the floor every morning, and a few granules made it 14 feet down the hall into my bedroom.

    This litter makes the firmest clumps I’ve ever experienced. It also controls the odor extremely well. The clumps themselves have no odor. The clumps are very easy to see in the litter as they get quite a bit darker than the color of the dry litter. I can also confirm that it is dust free. I poured it with force into the litter box from way above, and no dust puffed up at all, so I can be confident that my cat won’t be breathing any when he digs away like he does. The 20 lb container can be easily carried and poured by a woman. That said, I personally still like Special Kitty 40 lbs best because it is just about as good in clumping and also dust-free, but it's much less expensive per pound.

    I received the Tidy Cats Clumping Litter, 4-in-1 Strength for Multiple Cats, 20-lb Jug, as part of the Spark Reviewer porgram. It promises to address the various problems of the multiple cat litter box: Amonia, Urine & Fecal odors, along with powerful clumping power. It really doesn't look much different from other kitty litters, but I think it hits the mark on all points. There is a pleasant, but not overpowering, scent to the litter and it seems to clump better than the other version of Tidy Cats that I have been using--Clumping for Multiple Cats. This is especially true when dealing with urine pods in the corner of the box. I use the recycled paper boxes inside a large plastic box. One of the complaints about those recycled paper boxes it that the urine pods REALLY stick to the sides/bottom of the box when it is placed in the corner, which one of my cats always does. There is often residue left behind, and it takes multiple attempts to free the clump from the box, but so far, that has not happened with the Tidy Cats Clumping Litter, 4-in-1 Strength for Multiple Cats, 20-lb Jug. This pleases me a lot as I find is annoying to struggle with cleaning the stuck-on pods first thing in the morning. It's a definite recommend for me and a product I will be using regularly.

    The odors do make a difference
    I’ve been using Tidy Cats Clumping Litter for many years, and even after trying some of the less expensive or off brand names, I always return to using Tidy Cats. It’s always been affordable and available every time I shopped at Walmart. I wasn’t sure that the Tidy Cats Clumping Litter 4 in 1 Strength for Multiple Cats would make much of a difference, but it does. I don’t have to clean the litter box as often and there’s of course less dust and mess from the exits as well. It eliminated the litter box odors partly due to the odor of the litter itself. At first I thought it was too strong but any time you change the litter type or name, you gradually decrease the old and mix in the new. The same as you would with food. Most if not all pet owners know this. The smell of this new litter isn’t offensive, just different, and stronger than the Tidy Cats Scoop for Multiple Cats. (I normally use the blue top one and probably will go back to that one.) Either way, TidyCats is an ideal cat litter for one or more cats and I highly recommend the brand anytime. I suppose you could open the tops of the jugs at the store to smell them and then decide from there if you think the smell is too much or not yourself.

    Tidy cats clumping litter, multiple cat, 201b jug
    I ordered the 20 pound Purina Tidy cats clumping litter. It features 4 in 1 strength according to the label. It targets ammonia,urine, fecal and powerful clumping. It attacks and neutralizes all of these orders. The strong clumping features in this litter makes it easy to remove waste. Which I have been doing a lot lately. I used scooper to clean out the waste which was solid and firm to remove. I have one cat but she is always using her litter box. So I'm frequently cleaning it out several times a day. The clumping litter makes my job super easy. I didn't notice any dust when pouring into the litter box. I usually prefer clumping litter over regular litter because it keeps odors down and cuts down on how much litter I have to throw away. Overall, I prefer clumping litter because I couldn't smell my cat's litter box. Even though, this litter is made for multiple cats, I chose this brand because its very effective all around. The directions for use are to first pour tidy cats litter to a depth of 3-4 inches, second remove solids daily and third add more litter to maintain a depth of 3-4 inches. It is made of a natural clay product with a deodorizing system. Lastly, I would trust this brand and buy it in the future for my cat needs because of their long history of making pet products.

    Clumps Better - No Odors!
    The new Tidy Cat 4 in 1 Strength clumping litter seems to live up to its name. Using extra-giant size covered litter pans sold here on Walmart.com, this 20 pound container filled the box to a depth of about 2 1/2". After letting the cats (3) use the 2 litter pans, one with the new 4 in 1 Strength Tidy Cat and the other with Multiple Cat Tidy Cat Instant Action (blue label) for one day the first thing we noticed was that the box with the Instant Action Tidy Cat had been used at least twice as much as the new 4 in 1 Strength Tidy Cat. The 4 in 1 when first put in the empty box was much less dusty than the original type Tidy Cat but had a odd chemical smell to it but on the second day that smell was gone. I think the reason the cats used the Instant Action Tidy Cat could have been due to the odd new smell with the 4 in 1 Strength or the depth wasn't enough or they just like using older litter lol. After cleaning both boxes for we did find that the new 4 in 1 Strength Tidy Cat did hold the clumps together much better than the original Instant Action Tidy Cat. While cleaning there were no "dust clouds" when sifting the 4 in 1 Tidy Cat and also noticed that the pan with the 4 in 1 Tidy Cat really had no odor at all. I would have to say that the new 4 in 1 Tidy Cat is a great improvement to the other Tidy Cat clumping litters available and would recommend giving it a try!

    Cat Litter That Really Works
    Any cat owner will tell you that cats are stinky. They can't help it; they're cats. Tidy Cat 4-in-1 goes a long way toward helping to keep the odors to a minimum. I like the way that it forms tight clumps right away, and makes cleaning the litter box less painful(for my nose). Tidy Cat 4-in-1 Litter neutralizes odor without being overpowering. That's important to me, as I know cats have sensitive noses, and if the litter is too strong for me, I know it's too strong for them. One of my cats will "dig out" all the litter if he isn't happy with the way it smells. I have a litter mat to catch the little bits of litter, because it isn't 100% "track proof". It's still way better than the regular cat litter. I love the litter jug; I rinse it out and use it for storing everything from cat chow to Legos. Until I'm able to convince my cats to use the toilet, I'm very satisfied with Tidy Cat 4-in-1 Litter.
