Its So Very Light at Full Strength
Its a bird. No, its a plane. Again, no – Its Tidy Cats Light Weight Performance Clumping Cat Litter with Glade flying through the air. Yes, this is so light, you can toss the jug into the air and wait for it to come back to Earth so you can catch it. Why, you ask? Because this cat litter is half the weight of traditional leading clumping litters. In fact, the jug only weighs 8.5 pounds and that is the big jug. Tidy Cats Light Weight Performance Clumping Cat Litter with Glade is made for multiple cats with 24/7 performance and works around-the-clock for long-lasting odor control. You get the odor-neutralizing power you want in a convenient lightweight formula that is easy to carry, store and use. Also it is made with Glade Tough Odor Solutions, which I really enjoy this scent. Therefore, it has a fresh scent and is lightweight at the same time. Further, you will notice the jug has two handles to assist you in pouring the litter into your cat pan. Remember to start with a nice clean litter pan, mine are big and blue. When it is time to clean all the stuff from the bottom of the litter pan, use warm water and a mild detergent. Next pour your Tidy Cats Light Weight Performance Clumping Cat Litter with Glade to a depth of approximately 3 to 4 inches. Additionally, always scoop daily to remove the tight clumps. Then, if needed, you can add more litter to help keep the 3 to 4 inches in the pan. I really do like this Tidy Cats Light Weight Performance Clumping Cat Litter with Glade because the Glade scent really works to control odor even after Angel, Abby and Motley have used it several times during the day. Yes, they make the cat pan very stinky because of their strong odor. However, once I scoop the pan it is like I just changed the litter. OK, what are you waiting for, hop into your car and run to your closest store and buy Tidy Cats Light Weight Performance Clumping Cat Litter with Glade. I am sure you will like it as much as your cats will. Remember you receive all the strength of the traditional leading clumping litter but at half the weight. That is so very great. .

Light Weight Cat Litter
After my back surgery I needed to find some lighter cat litter so I picked up the Tidy Cats Lightweight Clumping Litter for Multiple Cats with Glade, 8.5 lb Jug. I was pleased with the weight. I did a complete replacement of the old litter and pored in 3/4 fo the jug. My cat is picky so I was not sure if she would like the Tidy Cats Lightweight Clumping Litter for Multiple Cats with Glade or the dust. But she has been using it for almost two weeks now. The litter is easy to scoop and my back has been thankful. The one draw back with the Tidy Cats Lightweight Clumping Litter for Multiple Cats with Glade, 8.5 lb Jug is the size. I think they could have made it a 10 lb jug. The cost is comparable if it holds up as long as the regular cat litter. Time will tell if the Tidy Cats Lightweight Clumping Litter for Multiple Cats with Glade can win me over. We all like the Glade in the Tidy Cats Lightweight Clumping Litter for Multiple Cats with Glade, this has made the are around the litter box smell so much better. I do recommend the Tidy Cats Lightweight Clumping Litter for Multiple Cats with Glade, 8.5 lb Jug. Give it a try, my cat also gives it a 2 paws up approval.

    Great and lightweight!
I like that I can buy such a lightweight size, 8 pounds. Everything about this litter is great, the smell, the clumping and no dust. This is the only litter I buy for my little Rosie

Tidy cats lightweight clumping cat litter
This is the first time that I have used Tidy Cats Lightweight clumping cat litter and I am pretty happy with the results. I really like the fact that it is lightweight so I don't have to strain myself carrying heavy clumping cat litter containers around. Also, replenishing the litter box is so much easier. It's nice that the container has a handy handle to carry it around and the container is recyclable so it will be going in my recycling bin. The added fragrance from Glade is very nice. It is a very soft fresh scent that is not overpowering and keeps the odors at bay. The granules are ok at absorbing but I really prefer hard tight clumping litters so just a bit disappointed with the clumps not holding too well. It could be my cat's diet so not sure if that's the reason the clumps aren't so tight. I change my cat's litter box every other day and I haven't had any issues with dust, odors or tracking. As with most cat litters you cannot dispose this litter in the toilet which is not a problem with me because I always keep plastic bags on hand to dispose of my cat's litter. I get a lot of use from this 8.5 lb container so it should last me a few weeks. Overall I am very pleased with the fact that it's lightweight and controls odors pretty well.

    4 Cats Like It!
I have 4 indoor-only cats, so we go through a lot of cat litter. All but one of them prefer clumping litter, and they all liked this one, and used it without any adjustment period from their usual litter. I ordinarily buy unscented litter, so I wondered if that would be a problem, but it didn't seem to bother them at all, and it had just enough scent to be noticeable, not heavy at all. It is the lightest of all the litters I've tried, although I don't think I'd try throwing it to anyone, as they do in the TV ads. I think it did have less dust than what we usually see, it absorbed & clumped easily, held together when cleaning out the litter box, and the jug contained just about the amount I usually put in one of our litter boxes. As long as my cats use it, I'm happy, so I would both recommend and buy it.

    Carpal Tunnel Free
I was glad that the Spark Review program offered this as one of their free items, because I’ve wanted to try it out when the price became more reasonable. The full eight-pound jug is easy to lift. I doubt if you’d sprain your wrist picking this jug up. Though it looks like cat litter, the granules bounce off each other, like cascading silk or white sand falling through the hourglass. It’s a cool thing to watch. I thought the white and blue granules would be sharp, but when I put my hand against it, it didn’t hurt. It must be more comfortable for the kitties to walk on it. Their feet sink into it, just as my dog’s feet sinks in the snow. There is a little bit of a dust cloud that stirs up when sifting out the litter box or adding more litter in. And there is a little gumming up of the scoop. You would still need to use a wallpaper spatula and I recommend getting the next size up from a small. This will make cleaning the litter box, so much easier for you. The scent is also an attractive cantaloupe cucumber smell, but a tad too strong for my preference. Someone else might think it’s okay. It’s just when I’m sifting out the litter box or refilling it that it seems too strong. It doesn’t deter my cats from using it, though. In fact that’s the favorite litter box. On one occasion, the urine didn’t absorb right away and there was a puddle of urine in the litter box. I don’t know how the cat managed to not step in it on their way out. There is a lot of litter scattered on the floor. Not sure what they could do to prevent that. I like it that it makes big clumps. Despite the dust issue, I am strongly tempted to buy this cat litter. But again, the price always deters me.

Light weight & contains Glade deorderizing system
Purina Tidy Cats clumping litter claims to be 50% lighter compared to leading clumping litter. The net weight is 8.5 pounds. The packaging also states that it is all the strength and half the weight. This is a new product in that it contains Glade Tough Odor Solutions. You can smell the Glade when you open the container. I am not sure if this product removes the ammonia smell from cat urine or simply masks it. Direction say to maintain a depth of 3-4 inches. To maintain that depth in an average cat litter box, you will need several containers to start with and then add more after scooping. This product is for multiple cats. The ingredients are natural clay and mineral product with deodorizing system. It is 99% dust free. Purina/Tidy Cats’ has an innovation center where they do their research. I watched a series of videos on their Web site. They also heavily market their products. This product was manufactured at the Nestle Purina PetCare Company, St. Louis, MO. Tidy Cats is a part or subsidiary of the Nestle Purina PetCare Company.

Weighs 8.5 pounds instead of 20
As the owner of one cat I usually go through a twenty pound jug of scoopable litter per month. Between scooping it daily and changing out and thoroughly cleaning the box on a regular basis this means I never have the slightest bit of odor unless the scoopable litter is totally worthless. For the record I had never used a lightweight litter before. I decided to try this because it weighs less and it was free. The first thing I noticed was how lightweight it was at 8.5 pounds it's less than half the weight of the usual 20 pounds for this size jug of litter. The second thing I noticed was that it has an odd scent and after smelling it a few times I realized it actually smells like bananas which was weird. I decided to make one of my pictures of some water dumped onto the litter so you can see how well it clumped. If a litter doesn't clump really well I end up with small pieces in my box that the scoop won't get that has cat waste or urine and that means odor and having to thoroughly clean the box more often. When I tested the litter the water clumped into one main mass but also had 3 smaller pieces too. These are the pieces that the scoop would miss so between that and the odd banana scent I didn't like this litter and would not buy it for myself. But if you have a cat and you are elderly or disabled and a 20 pound jug is hard to manage this might be what you need to make litter box maintenance easier for you.
