I am incredibly disappointed in these bowls!
I am so incredibly disappointed in these bowls! I already had one and loved it. I wanted a larger one and found this set at a good price. After throwing away the packaging, I went to wash the bowls and realized they were nothing like my bowl. Mine is a smooth clear glass. These have large imperfections in the glass including etching in the inside bowl. This is present in all of the bowls. Please look closely before you discard the packaging. I think they may be sending seconds to Walmart.

So if you wanted the old Pyrex that won't break at all, you will not be satisfied with this product. But the pros is that it is still pretty durable (it is breakable) and it is much lighter than the older versions. And on top of that, it comes with lids! No more trying to fit cling wraps on these bowls. It makes it so much more environmental friendly especially if you plan to use this for marinading meats, proofing doughs, and meal prepping. It is also wonderful for party and potluck use. Any leftovers, just pop on the lid and stick it in the fridge or freezer. Aside from that, I bought this with the intention of using them as dog bowls. My german shepherd hates the smell and taste of metal and plastic bowls. And I can never find a doggie bowl this size. Basically I used the biggest size for his food bowl and the next biggest two sizes as his drinking bowl (bigger one downstairs and smaller one upstairs). He loves them and no longer splashes food everywhere. And I'm happy I don't have to constantly clean up the floor. The lids kinda served as trays to catch food crumbles and water splashes. So I highly recommend this to anyone looking for affordable doggie bowls. One thing to keep in mind, my dog is very gentle and careful. But if you have a hyper pooch that likes to throw bowls around or knock them over, this may not be your best choice as it still can break and the shards can hurt your baby.Michael

My friend had a similar set on her bridal registry at another store. I quickly marked them as "purchased" and got these Pyrex bowls at Walmart. I was able to find measuring cups and measuring spoons there to match, and a set Mr and Mrs 2021 kitchen towels embroidered in the same colors. They loved them!MsD

A bit sad about that. The other three are good but the lids in this set are not as good as past Pyrex products we've purchased and own.David

However, I bought two sets of these bowls as gifts and they had scratches on the glass, some of the glass had a wavy pattern in it and there was even a chip in one of them. I was not confident in using them at all!Elissa

I have plastic and they get stained and no matter what you do you cannot get the stains out. As a result these do not get thrown away and replaced. The addition of lids is nice to keep food warm and for storing food for later. The price is better than the plastic bowls that get stained.Dorothy
