Quaker Oatmeal Express cups
The first oatmeal that I tried was the Maple & Brown Sugar. This comes 5g of fiber, & in a 1.69 oz. container. The directions say to cook it on high for 45 to 50 seconds. I tried the first one for 45 seconds. I stirred it and then let it sit for the required 2 minutes. It came out rather runny. Even though it was on the runny side, the flavor was there and it was very tasty. Each serving contains: 180 calories, 2.5 fat, 3g of fiber, 290 sodium, 130mg of potassium, & 4g of protein. I then tried out the 1.76 oz container of the Honey & Almond. I cooked this one for 52 seconds and let it rest for the 2 minutes. This one came out very creamy and just the right consistency. It had a very rich flavor and was also very tasty. Each serving contains: 190 calories, 4g of fat, 5g of fiber, 180 mg of sodium, 150mg of potassium, & 7g of protein. These will make a great addition to breakfast and ta good as well. You just need to see how long you need to cook in your own ovens. I am glad I chose these Quaker Breakfast products!

Kind of like eating flavored paste...
Ok, I love oatmeal. I have been eating it for almost 70 years. I even like the packets of instant oatmeal. I made mine exactly as directed on the cup(I had the honey and almond). I did not add anything to it, because I wanted to taste it as is. It was thick and mushy...really mushy. It must stick to the ribs because it sure sticks to the roof of your mouth. The flavor might be ok, if one can get past the consistency. I can't. My husband thought his was too thin, so he zapped it another 30 seconds and then put in some milk and sugar. He still didn't like it, either. It soaked the extra milk right up. I tasted his (the brown sugar one) and it was just as pasty. To recap...it's a no for me on this product. I don't think we will even be able to eat the rest of the box (and my husband hates to throw ANYTHING away). Photos included.

    Grandbabies love these!
I'm not very found of oatmeal but thought I'd give it a try! I liked the maple and brown sugar ones more than I liked the honey & almonds. My granddaughters loved both flavors and ate the rest! These are very handy to have as they're a single serving and very easy to make! My daughter bought more!

    Oatmeal in a bowl
The texture of the oatmeal was worthy, with the Maple & Brown sugar having just the right mixture of maple & brown sugar. The Honey & Almonds was also worthy, it had a few almonds which made it enough for the taste. I found that putting hot water in and mixing worked just fine but I do not wish to use tap water and so used purified water stirred and I placed it in the micro-wave for 1 minute took out and stirred again. I allowed to sit for 2 minutes and it was ready to eat.

A quick and simply healthy snack at anytime.
I received the Quaker Instant Oatmeal Express Cups, Variety Pack, Maple & Brown Sugar and Honey & Almonds, 12 Cups through the Spark Reviewer program for free. This is Quaker Instant oatmeal in a cup. Flavors are Maple and Brown Sugar and Honey and Almonds. Both flavors taste good. Not too sweet at all. I got 6 cups of each flavor. I would recommend these to anyone in your family. All ages can eat this. The Maple and Brown Sugar is a classic flavor that I remember as a young child growing up. It was the best anytime, especially on those cold winter morning before going to school. This can be prepared by boiling hot water over the stove or using the microwave. Either cooking method is fine. Just be careful as the water is very hot because it will burn your mouth and tongue. Thank you Walmart Spark Reviewer. I'm posting a picture to show you all. The Honey and Almonds are new to me. The honey is a very light, you may want to add a little more to get that honey taste. I do recommend this product, its healthy and fulfilling. It has 7 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber.

Healthy on the go filling breakfast
I got the Quaker instant oatmeal in the maple & brown sugar and Honey & Almonds because I wanted a healthy quick breakfast that I can take with me on my way to work in the morning. We normally buy the big container of instant oats and add what we want to it but I don't know if they come flavored and I like the idea of individual servings in a to go container and the different flavors. I received 6 containers of each flavor. The instructions are simple. Add water to the dotted line inside, microwave for 1 minute, let set for 2 mins, then it is ready to eat! I like to add a little bit of milk to mine and make it a bit soupy. They are very creamy & smooth and the best part about it is I can take it with me and actually drink it as I am driving (If you don't like milk in it, you will need to bring a spoon). I feel a lot better about myself and ready to start the day feeling fulfilled with a tasty, healthy on the go breakfast. Only 190 Calories, 7 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber. My whole family loves them and we have added this to our grocery list. I highly recommend them.

    Very convenient
This is basically your everyday Instant Oatmeal, just packaged in its own bowl. Don't get me wrong, the flavors I tried are quite good, but that's a personal thing for each person. As noted, the difference here is a bowl - ready for microwaving or adding boiling water. It even has a convenient water level marking on the inside of the bowl. It, like the paper packages, brews up a very decent amount of oatmeal - to which you can add whatever you wish. Personally, I like a pat of butter, a spoonful of sugar, and (wait for it...) a spoonful of bacon bits (yum!). I do, however have two "beefs" with the new packaging. 1. The preparation instructions are VERY tiny - and worse yet, the microwave info is printed in black ink over a dark blue base color - making them almost unreadable without a strong light or magnifying glass. 2. Neither the tear-off plastic lid, nor the bowl are marked for recycle. If that's true (and not just an oversight) it's a bit tacky and will send me back to the older (recyclable) paper packets in a cardboard box. Would I recommend this product - yes, but with the two cautions noted above. Print the instructions on a white background and find a way to make the lid/bowl recyclable and I'll LOVE it.

Oatmeal Is A Great Snack Idea!
Quaker Instant Oatmeal Express Cups is so easy to prepare either by using hot water or the microwave. The creamy oatmeal is hearty and so delicious. Oatmeal has always been a favorite breakfast item for me but I have found that it also is good for snacking. The rich texture and flavorful oats are filling and helps you get your energy level back up again throughout the day. The best part of Quaker Instant Oatmeal Express Cups to me is the cup! You have very little clean up to do after you finish your oatmeal because it comes with its own bowl! Brilliant idea! Quaker is a trusted brand in my family and is good for everyone that loves a good bowl of oatmeal. As a former teacher, I can think of several ways to reuse the plastic bowls when I am finished with my oatmeal.

Quaker Instant Oatmel in a cup
I got to try this Quaker Instant oatmeal in a cup. Flavors are Maple and Brown Sugar and Honey and Almonds from Walmart Spark Reviewer for free. Both flavors taste good. Not too sweet at all. I got 6 cups of each flovor. I would recommend these to anyone in your family. All ages can eat this. But be careful. It is very hot when it comes out of the microwave and if you don't have a microwave I'm sure you can use hot boiling water and still be careful because it will burn your mouth and tongue.
