Been using this product for last 2-3 years in all my 2 cycle equipment on the farm. Carbon build up has been reduced, engines perform better, also use 91 octane pure gasoline, no methanol in all 2 cycle power equipment.

    This Oil Works for me.
See The Q and A section for this Product. I recently switched to this oil from YLube on a carb'd 90hp outboard. So far so good.. Doesn't smoke any more or less compared to YLube. Costs less !! I found a TON of confusion in Quicksilver Products.. http://www.quicksilver-products.com/water/outboard/lubricants/ Made my own chart.. Hope this helps !! (Just trying to help) ============================================================= Quicksilver Multi-Purpose Premium 2-Cycle Outboard Oil (TCW3 - Silver Bottle w/Red Label) ============================================================= Low HP Range: 2.5HP to 30HP Carbureted or EFI Rating: Good* (Recommended by Mercury) Mid HP Range: 40HP to 115HP Carbureted or EFI Good High HP Range: Above 115HP Carbureted or EFI Not recommended All HP - Direct Injection Not recommended ============================================================= Quicksilver Premium Plus 2-Cycle Outboard Oil (TCW3 - Silver Bottle w/Black/Silver Label) ============================================================= Low HP Range: 2.5HP to 30HP Carbureted or EFI Rating: Better Mid HP Range: 40HP to 115HP Carbureted or EFI Rating: Better* (Recommended by Mercury) High HP Range: Above 115HP Carbureted or EFI Rating: Better* (Recommended by Mercury) All HP - Direct Injection Rating: Better ============================================================= Quicksilver Synthetic Blend 2-Cycle Outboard Oil (TCW-3 Silver Bottle w/Yellow/Blue Label) ============================================================= NOTE: This Product not listed on Quicksilver web page as of May 2013. The following is a logical suggestion based on all other oils available from Quicksilver and what is printed on the back of the bottles. Low HP Range: 2.5HP to 30HP Carbureted or EFI Rating: Best Mid HP Range: 40HP to 115HP Carbureted or EFI Rating: Best High HP Range: Above 115HP Carbureted or EFI Rating: Best All HP - Direct Injection Rating: Better (Ok to use in DFI as per back of the bottle) ============================================== Quicksilver DFI Outboard Oil (Silver w/Yellow Label) Not TCW3 Rated ! ============================================== NOTE: This Product is listed on Quicksilver web page as of May 2013 as "Best" for all HP and fuel deliveries. However, on the back of the DFI bottles I've read this oil specifically states for use in DFI engines and NOT for engines requiring TCW3 rated oil. The following is a logical suggestion based on all other oils available from Quicksilver and what is printed on the back of the bottles. Low HP Range: 2.5HP to 30HP Carbureted or EFI Rating: Not recommended Mid HP Range: 40HP to 115HP Carbureted or EFI Rating: Not recommended High HP Range: Above 115HP Carbureted or EFI Rating: Not recommended All HP - Direct Injection Rating: Best* (Recommended by Mercury) ========================================= Quicksilver Rejuvenate® (Black Bottle w/ Mostly Yellow Label) ========================================= NOTE: This Product is listed on Quicksilver web page as of May 2013 as "Ultimate" for all HP and fuel deliveries. I have not seen this in stores yet to read the bottle. The following is as per Quicksilver web page May 2013. Also note how Rejuvenate on the Quicksilver Web page does NOT have specific recommendations by Mercury Marine. (just saying) Low HP Range: 2.5HP to 30HP Carbureted or EFI Rating: Ultimate Mid HP Range: 40HP to 115HP Carbureted or EFI Rating: Ultimate High HP Range: Above 115HP Carbureted or EFI Rating: Ultimate All HP - Direct Injection Rating: Ultimate
