Great choice for the price
I have only had this for less than a month, but so far I am very pleased. The color is excellent, the picture is sharp and clear and the sound is fine. The 40" screen is just the right size for my small living room. I wasn't sure how this would be because of the lower cost but I am very happy with it.

I purchased it during the Holidays on=line because my TV died. I thought the RCA brand was dependable and the price was comparable to other brands. The remote has no numbers so a user must negotiate the extremely awkward search set-up with directional arrows and a "home" button. Sometimes the viewer must hit "home" first to simply move up or down to a new channel which I like to do during the news or weather reports. Also, ROKU wants the user to watch what it chooses rather than the preferred channel(s). I over rated it as "2" because it has a nice picture.Barbara

Called the 1-800-968-9853 told me wait time was 20 mins, after waiting for 1 hr and 5 mins they cut me off. called back and now the recording says 1800 number is no longer in service. lousy service and sorry TV. I wouldn't recommend it.jimmy

After a couple hours the sound will go in and out during a movie, all glitchy. The remote lags on sound/volume control, then sound completely stops! This is a piece. Guess you get what you pay for. So much for trying to buy an inexpensive tv. From what I'm reading now, I'm sure I will have a run around with RCA… wish me luck!Heather

Day 2, sound is muffled and skipping and annoying. Still no sharp image. Netflix again is perfect. I will be calling tech support. I use average TV 95% of the time and Netflix sometimes on weekends.lois

The main issue is that sometimes when we turn it on, the volume will not work. The only way I have found to fix it is to do a full system restart. luckily it doesnt log us out of all our apps when I do it, but my kids are 5basketballbeauty
