Connected the cable, scanned for channels, and this little antenna found 37 channels from about 22 miles. The RCA app was pretty useless for me. I have one installation option: in a window pointed at the tower. That worked out pretty nicely. My only criticism is that the cable is pretty thin. The connector fit right on the tv but the cable itself is pretty thin. I have had another RCA antenna for the past 10 years and have loved it. I hope this one works as good.

Did not work for me
Was excited to receive this antenna because i dont have cable. But when i hooked it up and scanned channels, i was unable to receive a signal for ABC and our fox channel pixelated. Had problems with other channels as well. Disconnected and tried again, scanned channels again, and the same thing happen. We live in the city limits not far from station antennas. Honestly not impressed with the rca antenna. I do not recommend.

    This RCA Antenna actually works. For the first time i have access to all the local channels. The Antenna comes with directions on how to download the RCA App. Using the RCA App one is able to locate the most suitable location to place the antenna facing the closest tower. Great purchase.

    I bought one of these Antennas a few months ago, it works BEAUTIFULLY! The channel finder has a digital picture screen that's easy to read and simple to use. After the channel scan, it picked up fifteen-or-so channels I didn't know were available, some of which I didn't want, the unwanted channels were easily blocked through my TV's remote, and I now have even more channels to choose from for watching. There's a lot to love about this Antenna, but my favorites are there're NO "plugins" with wires hanging all over the place. I'm buying another. I highly recommend this antenna over plugins and pay-per-view streaming services.

    CBS crystal clear other channels not so much
    Did the channel scan receive 65 channels. A few main channels are crystal clear especially CBS oh NBC ABC are very glitchy spotty thinking of moving the antenna around to try to get a clear picture on those main channels. Only bought this so we could watch football. It all depends on where your TV is placed and how long the wire is if you could reach it to where the signal finder app tells you to put the antenna. I wish the cord was a little longer and more flexible because I could get it closer to the window.

    Saved my life on the redlands[ miami]
    This antenna saved my life while the time we were at the redlands located in the south are of miami [its an agricultural area]. We had to be here for 2.5 months while we were waiting for our house. I was desoerate because i have a littke one and need some regular tv instead using my cell phone. I got this multidirectional antenna to be able t to reach some channels. My husband installed it. Ut was quite fast. We only recommend to be carefull with a small part/ support at the back because is quite fragile. And follow the manufacture advice. Put the square antenna not so close from the tv. Ours is close to a window. Aprox 1 mt from the tv. We are able.to watch pbs kids and other kid channel. I think we have around 40 channels So far it has saved my life!.

    I had an antenna that hung in a window or on a sliding glass door, it had suction cups on it. This one has a kickstand or an option to hang on the wall. This is heavy duty. The one I had was very thin and flimsy to where it could hang with the suction cups. So I feel like this one is more sturdy. It's white it's a very classic and a basic color Goes with all decor the cord is pretty long, giving you plenty of length As I mentioned earlier it's got notches in the back to where you could hang it on the wall It also has a kickstand RCA is a trusted brand and I expect quality products from it I like the convenience of being able to move it where I need it to go The different options of how to install it

    Coaxial cable head too small
    As sleek and cool the design is the coaxial cable tip or head was too small for the television. Never had an issue with any coaxial cable before so I do not recommend unless you don't mind getting an adapter if you're handy and/or have the time. Also instructional video is nice. There are nail slots to hang kickstands for standalone, but there's no tape backing if you want to stick it to window so that is needed.

    RCA Indoor Flat HDTV Multi-directional Antenna ANT4WH looks really trendy and sleek. I love the shape, design and quality of it. It's super easy to setup/install, and due to its shape ,it's very easy to position based on your preference. It's very efficient as tv stations are gotten even in the absence of a cable. I love it because it's very reliable.

    Not complicated-easy for beginners
    This was easy to install, not as complicated as I had imagined, thank goodness. Installation was a 3 step process, with easy to understand instructions. One of the steps was to download the "RCA Signal Finder"application, it was free easy to download, I just typed the name in my cellphone play store application and within minutes it was downloaded. No registration required, all I did was type in my address and point my phone around the room and look for the red signal to turn the color green. The equipment was 1 single piece that required the coaxial cable from antenna to be connected to the input knob on tv label "in". I had to look up how to perform a scan for my particular tv on the internet bm a scan for my particular brand of television, this took only a couple of minutes to watch the quick video. 22 channels were found considering I live in a very urban part of Los Angeles California I imagined getting a signal to be difficult, I would have to agree with the antenna is best placed in a window for best reception for a clear, un-pixelated picture. The stand for the antenna is alright not exactly the most sturdy. Box says "designed& engineered in the USA", has a 40 mile range, lifetime limited warranty. I like this product and plan to get one for my mom in Oklahoma for when she loses cable due to weather conditions, she can say safe and informed.
