Lots of stuff in here- granddaughter thrilled!
This is a really good kit with a lot, and I do mean a LOT, of items to keep someone busy for many hours. My granddaughter is 7 and she loves it- the colors are very vibrant and there are enough bands in each color to make most anything you can think of- several times for each one. There are 4 looms which also means you can make more than 1 shape/size of something so that is a real plus since she can makes things not only to fit herself but also to fit her friends. I must confess that I also enjoy making things so this is a real winner. It's more than twice as big as any other kit like this I have ever seen so the price can't be beat- you get a lot for your money. The age says 7 and up which I would say is correct because of the bands and the other small pieces. You won't be disappointed with this set whether you are aged 7 or 70, or any age. It really does come in handy with having to be at home so much. This would also be a great value buy for groups at church or to have something to do at a party or sleepover or something like that. You can definitely keep many kids busy for a long long time and they will have something to take home.

Very fun but directions are a bit confusing
This Rainbow Loom has turned out to be so fun for my 6 year old daughter. The package says 7+ for age and I would probably put the age range from 7-10 or so. It took a bit of guidance for my 6 year old for the first three or four bracelets and then she was perfectly capable of doing it herself. She still asks for help in hooking the sides together at the end with the clips. There are plenty of material for making a bunch of bracelets. My daughter has made about ten so far and she hasn't run out of anything except the cute little bags to gift them in. The instructions have pictures for each step and very few words overall so it is easy for kids to handle. Really my only complaint is that by following the directions perfectly there is absolutely no way to make the bracelets perfect the way the pictures show them to be. At least as far as I can tell, if you follow the directions the way they are written and pictured you come up with one side of the bracelet that has the elastic not folded in the end. This is a bit frustrating, but I have figured out a way past it. Overall, this product is really fun and I think it's the perfect gift for the age specified earlier. Your child will love it. I would just give it four stars simply for the frustration with the directions as described above making the bracelets turn out incorrect when followed.

    Fun for all ages
    The instructions need a little help but there are plenty of YouTube videos to help get you started. It is fun for all ages. Make bracelets for kids and adults with or without names. So fun to make together.

    Lots of crafting fun
    My 7 year old daughter is really enjoying this craft. It took her a while to figure out how to use it and I think it may be geared towards somewhat older kids, but once we got the hang of it, she liked it a lot. It comes with tons of pieces. Lots of colors to choose from and instructions. We also looked up YouTube videos which made it easier to actually see someone making them. Overall I would say this is a great craft.

    my granddaughter loves to play with this and make bracelets for all her family and friends. The colors of all the rubber bands are super neat. It has all the pieces needed to make a ton of them. The instructions are great and easy to understand. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who loves arts and crafts.

    Although I haven't used it yet being so busy from the holidays I have to watch YouTube to refresh my memory. I used these back in my younger years. It is fun to make them. This set includes the alpha loom which I think is the easiest one. Comes with the mini rainbow loom which is also easy to do then the rainbow loom which takes time and patience. This is great for young adults.

    Better for older kids
    My daughter is 8 and had a simi hard time making the bracelets. Once there made though there super cute ! They've give you more then enough to practice with (and make tons of bracelets,and a way to make big and small bracelets. The instructions are VERY easy to follow! My daughter and son really did enjoy making us bracelets and there friends!

    My daughter absolutely loved this set! It made the holidays even more fun. My daughters have been making necklaces and bracelets like crazy. This set is fabulous for older kids who know not to put the rubber bands in their mouth. I'd venture to say 5+! Overall this was a fantastic set to have!
