Streaming Camera with light ring
First off this camera came very well packaged. It was packed inside this very thick foam and then put into a secure box for shipment. It is unique as that is has a light up ring round it (the white circle) which is very cool and it has different lighting levels. So my son uses it for gaming and I was able to test it out under his direction and you can easily record yourself flawlessly playing video games and submitting it to you tube. The light definitely gave it more color and definition. It kept up with what we were doing and did not lag in time. The picture was crystal clear. I was very happy with it and look forward to using is for other things. It also gives you a link that you can join the Razor insiders. It fit nicely on top of the computer and had a long enough card to reach the port without any issue.

    30 days is not enough time..
    Product has never worked and it is too late to return it. Thought it was because of the USB-C adapter; after several adapters realized it wasn't the adapter but the Razer.

    The best webcam for this price!
    As a streamer looking for a upgrade I came across this webcam, I had never really liked razor but for the price it couldn't be beat. Ever since I have received this item, not only are my viewers happy, but I'm extremely happy. Everything about this item was perfect, from the packaging to the customer service!

    Works fine
    So I have this Razer Kiyo for a few weeks now basically for my online performances. The Razer Kiyo comes with a box, a manual, sticker and webcam itself and features with multi-step ring light and 720p 60fps HD Video and compatible with open broadcaster software and Xsplit. I have no issues installing this in my Windows 10 laptop, you just plug it onto you laptop and follow the instructions, this is also compatible with OBS. It is clear enough but can do better. The only issue that I am seeing here is that, it doesn't have a mirroring unlike other webcams that I had, also, I wish they could have a 1080p instead of just 720p so I guess for $89 this is a little bit pricey wherein you can get the same quality with other brand. But all in all, I would still recommend this as we all know that Razer products are reliable and very sturdy.

    Best Web Cam I Never Thought I Needed!
    Hey never thought I would need a webcam but hey never thought I would work from for the Foreseeable future and hey never thought I would be doing it because of a plague lol. But for something I wasnt planning of getting pretty dope I must say. Im an Apple user and its awesome.

    Remember the picture on Facebook of the blond 3 year old little boy trying to explain to his grandma about WI-FI, now we fast forward to my 20 year old grandson trying to explain this Razer-Kiya - Full HD 100th Streaming Camera with World'series First in-Built Ring Light to his 73 year old (non-techie) grandma and how it works. By the time we were done, the only thing I think I knew was that it shows a clearer picture, you can use it for SKYPE, you can use it to spy on people. (don'the even understand that one)! I did then overhear him on the phone talking to his mom (my daughter), asking her how come grandma was so smart about everything else but why didn't she understand this when it was so easy and there was nothing complicated about it. Guess I'm glad I did not hear her answer!

    So So but not great Quality.
    I haven’t had a lot of time to play with my Razor Kiyo yet, but I wanted something better than just my phone for doing some of the videos I do with my crafting. I can’t afford a big pro set up, so I thought I would give this a try. I love the light ring and think it will help a lot as I don’t have the best lighting in my craft room and tend to get some bad glares at times especially when I’m trying to record at night so there isn’t any natural light coming in. So far though I haven’t been impressed in the video quality. You can’t use it in low light because everything looks grainy, unless there are settings I haven’t found yet that might clear it up. Will have to do daylight recording still and have some natural light coming in. I like the fact that this has a front mic on it but have discovered it doesn’t pick up well and it’s hard to hear on the playback. I’m still trying to figure out positioning it at different angles to get the shots I’m wanting but it does have plenty of ways to do it hanging on your computer monitor or set up on a tripod. Hopefully I can figure everything out and get it doing what I am looking for. If you can afford it I would go with something better if you are looking for real quality video.

    Innovative gaming accessory
    The Razer Kiyo full HD 1080P streaming camera with the world's first in-built multi-step ring light is a cool gaming accessory. I'm sure any serious gamer would be interested in having this as part of their equipment. I admit that I had difficulty from the start and the information manual included with the device was not helpful. After browsing the company website, I still had to have my son assist me with set-up. Even HE had to spend some time researching the Internet for further instructions and he is a computer geek. Basically, he found the ring light an appealing feature and the picture was good, but the auto-focus was “crazy.” However, the ring light colours are very nice. The system requirements for the device are a PC with a free USB port, Windows 7 (or higher) Internet connection, and 500 MB of free hard disk space. Additional software and increase in system requirements may be required for certain applications. The camera is compatible with Open Broadcaster and Xsplit. An L-shape joint for mounting to your screen is included, or a tripod can be purchased separately. I was interested if it could be used with Skype and my son said it would work with Skype, but another program is required to set-it-up and run. Overall, he said it is a good camera, although, it is a bit complicated. Maybe with more practice, it will become easier to navigate.
