7 year old daughter loves it
My daughter has wanted a scooter for a while, so her 7th birthday was the perfect time to get this. The purple/pink coloring was exactly her style. The ability to raise and lower the handles might be nice for a younger/shorter girl, but it is at max height for her already. The ability to fold it down for transportation is very nice.
The only negative after almost two months of use is the quality of the little bell ringer on the handle. She loved dinging that bell for the three or so weeks it worked. When I first bought it I told her the bell would not work long and not to get upset when it broke, that we would get her something else. Sure enough, it broke. It is simply a bell with a knocker attached to the end of a spring coil. Pull it back with your thumb and let it go and it hits the bell. The spring coil becomes a little less coiled with each use and now it barely hits the bell. Not a big deal, but why add it at all if you are only going to treat it as an after thought. The neighbor girl got the scooter that makes sparks which is pretty cool, but you have to replace the metal "sparker" after a while and the Sweet Pea has tassels!

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/29/2021GREAT purchase if you have a child!Six year old granddaughter asked for it, was skeptical at first because I had purchased two others that were similar. They were either to short for her to ride or the quality was cheap. This scooter is the best so far I have purchased and my granddaughter is tough so the durability is what I like.Sonya

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/12/2020Just bought one for my son (he just turned 5)I still have the original from when I was in college. I got it back in 2000/01 and haven't don't anything to it, except add the wheelie bar. Lol. I love this thing and I'm over the specified weight, I was then as well at 6'1. But it has always been a blast and it is fun seeing the next gen use them as well. Will
