Great Sofa 4k Gaming console with DolbyV and Roku.
This TCL 55" series 6 4UHD 4k HDR Roku TV (55R615-B) is great as a Sofa PC monitor game console. Good detail adjustment options and speakers are good for speech but I use a sound bar for Dolby sound. The remote sucks and needs a universal replacement option. This is the best Budget TV before Samsung then SONY.

Damaged TV
We purchased this for my parents and it arrived damaged. There was no option for a replacement and or pickup. So my Dad had to repackage it and return it Walmart, which defeats the purpose of purchasing online. He did say customer service gave him no trouble with a refund.

    Pain in the butt
Reconditioned Unit came in defective. Kept turning itself off hourly. No problem returning it to Walmart, just a pain to have to dismount it and lug it back to the store.

Best tv deal out here 100% hands down!
This is one of the best deals that I have ever gotten! My tv arrived in like 4 days,I honestly think they sent me a brand new set. I am very pleased with this purchase. The picture looks amazing. I paid $800 for the 2019 65 in qled, and honestly I can't tell any difference this tv is great. U can't do better for $309

    Don't buy Walmart refurbished electronics
Wish I could give 0 stars. TV came with screen cracked, turned it on and wouldn't even display image. Looks like "refurbished" by Walmart means, just repackage and ship out an item without even the most basic checks. Terrible.

    Lost the coin flip
A badly cracked screen upon unboxing even though the box looked OK. Like the others wrote it is packed with a firm bubble wrap that I actually don't think was that bad, but it did not help. I have had the 65" version of this TV and it is a good TV and might be worth the price if you can get one that is not cracked and the panel is relatively clean. If you are close to a Walmart for a return it is probably worth the risk. For me, it was a 30 mile round trip and an hour out of my day so I debating about trying again. The return was painless at Walmart.

    Not Refurbished. Obviously Repackaged Returns.
The first "refurbished" TCL 55R615 TV I received from WalMart.com was damaged to the point of being non-functional. The screen was cracked (see first image). The included power cable was tied in a knot instead of coming banded in a cable tie. It was an obvious return and re-box with no testing for functionality before shipping. The second unit I ordered as a replacement had aesthetic frame damage, a crushed power button (see second image), and included an incorrect power cable. This seems to also have been a return that was re-boxed without testing or quality inspection. Both TV's came packaged identically; in plastic Air Cushions instead of the typical foam. However, it is clear most of the damage did not happened in transit. This being listed as a refurbished unit is misleading and should be advertised instead as "Scratch n Dent" to more accurately portray the item's potential condition. As a side note, the TCL 55R615 is a Best Buy exclusive version of the 55R617 (R617 sets come with a voice-enabled Roku remote--and cost a bit more--and the R615 sets do not) so that may have been a red flag.

    take your chances
went with store pickup so i could inspect the box for damage before accepting. box looked fine. TV looked almost new with plastic and energy rating screen. as soon as plugged in the cracked screen appeared and nothing else. dont think this was ever "refurbished", just reboxed. not worth my time taking into account traffic, lines, unboxing/reboxing. looks like you have a 50/50 chance of getting a working TV based on the reviews. this referb company should be looked into.

    Stopped working within 3 hours
Ordered this around thanks giving weekend and picked up last week. TV showed not much sign of wear and tear. it was packed with bubble wraps than the original packaging. All accessories were intact. I played it out for 3 hors and after the first two hours started getting into problems. When I tried to play hdr enabled content from Amazon prime and tried to work with the picture options, the screen started violently flickering with full white screen and stripes of colors across. After a few mins, I couldn't get the TV to get to even the home screen. Multiple restarts didn't work for me either. Panel was bright and okay while playing first 2 hours. I could see darkening corners at the four edges of the screen while displaying full white screen. not sure if it's how the panel behaves normally or if I received a defective panel. But not working after couple of hours was disappointing as it was labeled factory renewed. Had to return as it was completely dead. There was a sheet with the TV explaining release of liability for warranty after 90 days from the day of purchase. I feel lucky that it ceased to work right on first day. Had it stopped working after 90 days, it was going to the bin directly as it would be out of warranty.

    Not refurbished!
After finally getting a stripped screw out of the back of the tv and mounting it, we realized this was not at all a refurbished tv, but a very damaged and returned tv. There was horrible burn out on the screen. Vertical lines and shattered glass affect in the corners. What a waste of time.
