Not baby proof. My baby can open gate.
This gate is very nice but it is NOT baby proof! Which is pointless! My son opens the gate by pulling it open. He is 10 months old. Thank God I wasn't blocking off a stairway or my baby would have fallen down the stairs. I would upload the video however I am only given an option to upload a photo!

    Pretty good gate and features.
    Comes with 2 width sections. Can use narrow or wide or both. Insteictions want you to screw 4 holding "pucks" into the side walls. I didn't and it holds just fine. There is a gap adjustment to make up, easy to do, just read the fine manual. I used on a front porch to enclose the opening to keep a dog on front porch, but allow access for visitors and delivery. So far it's a pretty good gate for the $ with nice swing open and walk through option.

    Buy This Gate!
    This gate has been an excellent source of keeping my little guy out of the kitchen. I will be ordering a new one for my hallway. I love how sturdy it is and when he shakes it, it doesn't move.

    Awesome find
    I am very very happy with this gate. We have a wider doorway between our kitchen and living room so I had a difficult time finding one that would work. This is adjustable and fit perfectly in the doorway. I use it to keep my dogs out of the living room where we just got new carpet. I also wanted something that looked nice with our house. The finish on this gate is very pretty and classy looking. I didn't want to be stepping over a gate all the time. This gate has an easy to open door that is perfect. The price was surprisingly good. It wasn't much higher than a standard wooden gate with no door. I am very pleased with this gate.

    Dont recommend for little kids
    Doesnt stay where I've put it. Cant have it super tight as it throws the lock off. Has falling many times and when it does pieces come a part. Got it to block dogs out of a room. Would not recommend at all for babies or young toddles. I see kittle ones getting hurt.

    Very Happy with the Purchase
    We have installed 2 of these safety gates in our home for our little one. Directions were easy to read and it didn't take me much time to assemble them. I recommend 2 sets of hands when installing the gate in the doorway. The latch is great, easy to unlatch and latch. They seem to be very sturdy and made well, they are pretty and look expensive. I thought it was a bronze color, but it looks black in color. This isn't a deal breaker for me because I just didn't want white, because of messy baby hands. Great product so far, I expect them to be able to withstand our busy toddler.

    Sturdy gate
    Had this up now for about a month on an extra wide area- just enough of a gap between the wall and posts that my little dog can get to her food, but my child can't fit through with her. Has held up to him shaking the bars without the door flying open (he's only one, so time will tell)

    Perfect for our needs
    I shopped for a gate to section off an area for our dogs, and ALL of them were way over-priced, were too short, looked cheap and flimsy, and, they had very bad reviews. I decided to check on child gates, and a much larger variety showed up in the search, better quality, better reviews, and this was one of them. This gate installed easily, extends across my wide hall (57"), even at an angle, and is solid. The other reviews that mention that the gate latch and receiver don't line up, are not following the directions properly. As you use the pressure points on both ends of the gate to tighten it securely in place, the latch and receiver will automatically line up the way they should. Not only is is a good value for the price, it's metal, and looks pretty good. I'm glad I got it.
