Missing parts- not as expected
Was really looking forward to receiving this since I have a one year old and a newborn so this was important in baby proofing our home, it didn't come with all the parts and the instructions manual - we did look it up but since we are missing parts it doesn't help. Don't have time to return since I have a one week old and a 11 month old

    Flexible not very flexible
    If you are buying this gate because you like the flexibility, don't. You can either have it set up for the short measurement, or the longest measurement, but nothing in between these. Fortunately, the shorter measurement worked for me, BUT if you want to do this you don't have the parts to do it. I contacted the maker of this gate and apparently they are sending me the parts I need. Still waiting but haven't given up hope yet.

    Overall it's great but
    Overall I love the look and easiness of this gate, HOWEVER. The set up was kind of a pain and its not very sturdy in our house. We have it screwed into the wall for extra support, but if you bump into it it sort of wobbles. Maybe it's just because of our flooring I'm not sure. But it does keep our dogs out of trouble. We have an opening into our dining/living room that is about 73 inches wide and this fit great, just a pain to get it even and sturdy.

    Loved it so much we bought another!
    I had forgotten how not-baby-proof my house was until my grandkidlets were living with us. This is the only gate we could find that looked nice and fit across our wide entries. We lived the first one we got so much, we ordered another one just for our Christmas tree area so the little guy couldn't get to it (yes, and he's a little upset about it). He's a pretty strong kid so we did have to anchor it into the walls, but they've really held up! I also like how the gate can be set to fully swing open, swing one direction or the other, or fully lock from the bottom. It has met all of our needs and I would definitely recommend this for pets and children.

    Love it ! My pet has no choice but to stay in the kitchen. My husband replaced the screws that came with the gate to a longer one. Perfect.
