So far, so good!
We are using this at the bottom of our stairs and so far, it is working great! We did have to anchor it in better because it did come out of the wall after a couple of days, but it was an easy fix.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/01/2021This is our favorite gateWe love this one! Has one for about two years and still works great! Got another one to put somewhere else and we love it! The only thing is if you are too strong you can actually pull the whole thing out but easily fixed. I added a piece of metal wire twisted and fixed. We love this one because you dont have anything in the floor when you open it so it gives you ease when moving things. It has been very reliable.Lisbeth

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/19/2021Great productAs described, fit perfectly onto our banisters without having to screw in any hardware. Very secure. Not the easiest gate to open compared to others I've used but good enough.AA S

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/30/2021Good gate for Big DogsThe latching system is difficult to use. I settle for the top latch being secured. Screwed directly into a wooden doorway to separate two parts of my house. Now my two Dobermans can't sneak outside when I open the main door of my house. Overall very effective and I am well satisfied !!!Joseph

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/08/2021Great productThe gate was very easy to install, is strong and sturdy, like that it has a squeeze hatch to open and close, looks great, l brought 2of them and put them outside to block off my steps to keep my great grandson from going down the stairschristine

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/07/2017DO NOT BUY!!!!!!Where do I begin. First off, the instructions/illustrations are very poor and disorganized. Second, the screws they provided are SO poor two broke while screwing into the wood. I mean, how much are decent screws! One I was able to unscrew using pliers but the 2nd one is stuck inside my stair beam. Finally, after installing the thing, there is not room for misalignment of the walls. Unless you live in a new construction w/the wall, floor, stairs and everything else is perfect, this thing will be difficult to open and close. IT'S HORRIBLE! I've regretted buying it and should have just returned it when I saw after unpacking the material. HORRIBLE!!Skim1

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/22/2014Decent gate so I didn't have to drill spindleAfter tons and tons of research on baby gates we settled on this one. We really didn't want to have to drill into our wooden spindles but wanted to make sure our 1 year old was safe. This gate did it. We did have to drill into the actual wall but that was fine, as it is an easy fix. I also like that it has adapters to work around having molding. I definately recommend following the instructions carefully, and it took about 25-30 mins to install. I do overall feel like it is a sturdy gate. The downside is the gate swings both ways at the top of the stairs and if you let it hang over the stairs the velcro starts to loosen a little. but there is a lock over the velcro. and the way to open it is not really the easiest way invented, you have to lift it up, so although you can open it one handed, sometimes it's a little harder to shut 1 handed. All in all we liked it enough to get 2 more for our other stair openings.stitch17jr
