Reliable, Accurate, Dependable,and #1
I am a new diabetic and when I got a glucose meter from them and then got this wonderful Relion blood glucose meter to try it put the cheap non Accurate and hard to use to glucose meter from my insurance company to shame.....the ReliOn blood sugar meter not only 100% Accurate it saved me from going into a diabetic coma because the one my insurance company gave me was reading 300 and I checked it on the ReliOn meter and it was 410 and the ReliOn meter was 100% right....its not only 100% Accurate it is Very dependable and made of Excellent Quality and comes with a pouch for everything that you need to store your test strips, meter and poker......I 1000% highly highly recommended that you get a ReliOn Premier classic blood glucose meter!!!!!!!!! Thank you for the Amazing ReliOn blood glucose meter!!!!!!

This is Peggy. I got the meter. Did not like it. For me an inaccurated reading. I bought boxes of strips at the Elkin walmart. I took the unopened boxes of strips back to Elkin Walmart and they could not take them back so I did not mail the meter back to Walmart.com because I figured they would not take it back either

    Worth the money
    Seems to be accurate and the price was reasonable. It is easy to use and I do like the little beep that lets me know the blood collection strip is seated properly. The reason I knocked off one star is because I'm spoiled by my previous monitor that has a low, medium, high chart on the front for quick reading, which this monitor doesn't have. I do like the small carrying case which holds everything in a compact fashion and fits into my purse.

    Doesn’t use regular ReliOn strips
    Buyer be ware. Does not use the regular ReliOn strips and is not returnable. Does not come with sample/ beginner strips or lancet. Obviously I did not read carefully. Was purchasing as a back up. Now I’ll need to get strips just for this meter. What a pain that they’re not interchangeable with ReliOn strips.

    This machine is not accurate at all. I been using it since I got gd and found out it’s giving me higher readings I switched to relion platinum and it’s so much better

    Useless device
    This is inaccurate! Crazy high readings and its not even consistent in its inaccuracy. Sometimes 10 higher sometimes 40 higher. And it can not be returned.

    This device shouldn’t be sold
    Im not sure how something that’s its designed to track something so important as blood glucose can have such room for error. Im new to this I was told I have GD (it’ll go away very soon) but in the mean time I need to measure it at home. Long story short my pharmacy was taking too long and I got this to start ASAP. I almost wish I would’ve waited 2 weeks. I was almost put on INSULIN for BAD READINGS! Yes! BAD READINGS, HIGHER READINGS! I have been fine all along with my fasting numbers but this device has been picking them up anywhere from 7-10 digits higher for EVERY MEAL. Please dont buy this, its your health that’s on the line. Get yourself a real one even if its more expensive.

    Wildly inaccurate
    This meter is very inaccurate. It reads high almost every single time. My other meter has been tested with lab results and is very accurate but strips are being discontinued so I needed to find a new brand. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong and why both mine and my husbands numbers were so much higher than before. Started testing the same blood drop with my old meter as well and found it’s sometimes 25 points higher! Will not order this brand again. Ordered a contour next after and it’s very accurate. Don’t waste your money on this meter unless accuracy isn’t an issue

    Frustrated
    I bought this because of all the great reviews. Haven’t used it yet. Ordered control solution 8/31. Today is 9/17. Haven’t received it yet. Maybe when I get the control solution and can start using it, my rating will improve. I hope so.

    Great price, uses good strips, tested higher.
    This glucometer is very economical and uses very good strips. It was 10 points higher than my first meter, and the second Relion meter I bought (Premier BLU). I am not using it, sticking with the BLU.
