I've Had one of these Remington Vacuum beard trimmers for years, and it worked fine. This new one I have to say works even better, and has a much better vacuum system that makes clean up a breeze.

    Great product
    This is our third one and that's in a good way. My husband really loves this one. He's dropped one and broke it and lost another which is why we're on our third. He can do everything he needs with this one trimmer which makes it so convenient.

    Vacuum compartment to small
    I was excited to order this because of the vacuum feature but as soon as it arrived I was so disappointed. The vacuum compartment is the size of my thumb! I didn't even bother using it since I figured my hair would clog it up.

    Bit weak for thick beard, but works pretty good
    The vacuum feature actually is not bad. It sucks the cutoff hair into the body for later disposal. Good build quality. Only shortcoming is the cutting power is just a bit weaker than I was hoping for.

    more power than I expected from a beard trimmer
    This is my second beard trimmer. My first was a Norelco and this Remington out does it by far. It has lots more power and the vacuum actually works. My wife loves it because there's no little hairs all over the sink. I would highly recommend this beard trimmer

    Doesn't work, right out of the box
    My son received this trimmer from a relative as a Christmas gift. We opened the package and plugged it in to charge it for 4-6 hrs as recommended. Came back a couple hours later and noticed the charging light was out. We unplugged it and turned it on to test it out. The unit ran for less than 5 seconds and died. We assumed perhaps the charger had not been plugged in all the way, so put it back on the charger. It was then we noticed that the blue charging light extinguished in approximately two minutes, and again, the unit will not run for more than 5 seconds. Put it on charge again, and checked exactly four hours later with exact same results. How a unit can fail right out of the box is unfathomable, and unfortunately as this was a gift, we do not have the receipt to return it, so we are left with a useless piece of plastic and lithium battery that we can't even dispose of without being forced to take apart entirely. Would not recommend this product to anybody. Looks like we are not the only reviewers having issues.

    Returned. Didn't work for my purpose.
    I was looking for a similar model I previously owned by Remington that worked great keeping the hair from making any mess at all. Bought this one to use on the dog and the adjustable attachment for the longest length setting has a very small opening to suck hair up into for clipping. My dogs hair is wavy and wouldn't go into it at all. It would probably work better with very short straight hair or with the other guards on.

    Great Product At A Lower Price.
    I decided to buy this after my previous clippers gave out due to some liquid being spilled on it by the kids in the house. These clippers have allot of power and no cord to get in your way or to get tangled. This is meant just for facial hair but since I always cut my hair short I tried it out and they worked just fine just needed to make a few more passes since there not as wide as hair clippers. I am very pleased with my new product. Lighter then my last clippers and it fits nicely in the bag that is provided. Perfect for traveling with it's small size.
