It's perfect!!!
It's perfect, works great! Gives a very close and clean shave...I wish I would've gotten this for him before. I've went through three others before finding this one, glad I got it!

Not Worth The Money
This unit does not work. It does not remove the hair regardless of how many times I went oner my chin. It does not give you smooth shave.

    Good Replacement for Old R5130 Shaver
    Good shaver to replace my old R5130 model, although it doesn't shave quite as close as the old one did. The cutting heads are recessed a little more than the cutting heads on the R5130. Overall, though, I love the rapid charging time and the light feel of the shaver. I haven't tried disassembling the cutting heads yet for a deep cleaning, but I wash them out with hot water daily and lubricate them with Remington spray lubricant. I also use Remington shave powder to prepare my face for shaving.

    OK razor
    I bought this to replace my R7130 razor, the R7130 was metal, had a battery level indicator displaying minutes, the R5 is plastic, works well, just not the same quality.

    Close shave, Lightweight, Easy to clean
    The R5 Power Series Rotary Shaver by Remington gave a very close shave. It was very easy to use. The trimmer worked well and was easy to push the button and pop it up for use. I like that It is very lightweight compared to the last shaver I had used. I gave it a quick charge right out of the box and it did work just fine. I did put it back on the charger for a full 24 hours before I used it again, Since it did state to charge it for 24 hours before the first use. The head is easily removed for cleaning.     Not enough power
    Tried this razor out over the course of a month. It's doesn't clog up and was easy to clean. The recharge time on it is great, 5 minutes for 30 minutes of shaving. The detailing trimmer is awkwardly placed and didn't work well. The heads pivot in toward each other but not outward or even separately. I found myself going over places a few times to get a clean shave. I would suggest increasing the power so the blades can cut better. Moving the trimmer might help it, but having a separate trimming kit is easier. Letting the heads pivot on their own would probably result in a better shave.     Great Value for Your Dollar
    Ergonomically, the shaver feels good to hold in your hand. It's flexible heads allow for a smooth, close shave. I like the fact that you can use tap water to rinse out the shaving head. The digital battery readout and quick charge feature add a nice touch. The online package may have been a Christmas special, but I found the shaver, bundled with a replacement set of cutter heads, for about what you'd pay alone for the shaver. This added value sold me on purchasing this product.
