I got this a week or so ago and my son has but it though its paces. Lord only knows what all he has done to it. But he can be very hard on toys and it has kept up with him. He likes it so much he took it to show and tell above all his other toys. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    The Billy Blaze figurine is just what I wanted to go along with the transforming fire truck I bought for my grandson. I did not realize that he has a show on You Tube, but we watched it one day when he was at our house. I can't wait for his birthday to give him this.

    A childhood toy that works
    This toy engages imaginative play. An cookie tray becomes a rescue slide, a box it to be climbed or make openings now it is a tunnel. The list just goes on it challenges creativity and satisfies the need to explore.

    I received Billy Blazes free through the play, rate, review program from Mattel. My son absolutely loves Billy. He is an avid lover of fire fighters and reports that Billy is just like the "real" fire fighters. He enjoyed posing Billy in many different positions and using him to fight fires. Would recommend to anyone with a Fire Fighter lover! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    My almost 4 year liked it.
    We received this toy a couple weeks ago. My son played with it immediately. He had fun shooting the water piece and was easily able to reload it until it came out of the hand grip. He's almost 4 and continuously asked me to put the "water gun" back in his hand. It wasn't convenient as I was hoping this would keep his attention while I was unpacking from our recent move.     My little 4 years old loved it since he's into fire truck and fireman in general. The ability to remove the water jet pack with the water canon to use separately from the figurine was a plus. I found that the button to launch the “water” was too easily triggered. Many mishot happened while my son was playing with it. The character is well made and has a good weight on it. I believe that's partly why my son decided to take the water backpack off to play separately. Overall, it's a durable and good quality toy minus the sensitive button.
