It's really comfortable
This mattress has many several positive attributes going for it but the most important one is yes, it is comfortable thanks to the memory foam. I recently toured Kennedy Space Center and learned NASA was the inventor of memory foam which they used to pad the seats in the rockets. The mattress arrived in a moderate size box of approx 1 foot by 3 foot and I originally didn't think this mattress could fit in it. When I got it out of the box it was wrapped in heavy plastic and I followed the directions to open it and immediately it began to grow! It took 2 days until it fully inflated to it's size. The full size is 5 inches thick which I orignally thought would be too thin but it's not. The mattress is surprisingly supportive and I can feel less stress on my spine. When I lay on the mattress I don't sink it. I have a history of back problems and this mattress is comfortable to me as it conforms to my shape. I do need to say however that I am only 110 pounds. This mattress would be ideal for children and would fit great in a bunk bed or children's platform bed. A rollaway bed would be another place where this mattress would be ideal. The mattress has a washable cover for comfort . The cover is soft and quilted. Sandwiched in the mattress is a layer of gel infused memory foam for pressure relief. I read other reviews which stated they could smell an odor when first opened. I didn't have that experience. Overall, this is a great mattress for being only 5 inches thick and it is also nice that it's very affordable.

Skip this mattress
I was excited to get this mattress for a twin bed in my home. When I received the mattress I put it on top of the box springs I already had. I waited 48 hours for the mattress to decompress. The mattress does not look like it's a full 5 inches deep. When I got on the mattress I could still feel the box springs underneath. I'll be using this mattress as a mattress topper instead of a mattress. I'm not sure if it will work for a child, but it's definitely not made for an adult.

    Would recommend
    The mattress is very soft. We purchased it for my daughters Max and Lily loft bed with a slide and theres about an inch gap at the head or foot of the bed depending on which way it slides. Also, it seems like one of the corners never full rose, but overall is plush, not too concerning. Overall 7/10 would recommend since it arrived so quickly with free shipping, was nicely packaged, and rose quickly.

    Great Quality
    This is a great quality mattress and is comfortable too. At 5” total, it's not very thick, but it is enough for a small person or child. Quality exterior fabric and the interior foam is a good density. It comes compacted in a box and will stay compacted until the wrapping is removed (see pictures). This makes it one heavy box, but it is more manageable to carry or transport up stairs.

    So soft!!
    The Rest Haven Gel Memory foam mattress is the perfect twin-sized mattress. I was so surprised that a mattress from a box could be so soft and comfortable. This mattress was a lifesaver when my daughter wet the bed one too many times. Her old mattress stunk so we got her a cheap replacement. The mattress was all springs and was more like a box spring. It was so uncomfortable she couldn't sleep on it. When we received this one, we just threw it on top of the box-spring like mattress (because she didn't have a box spring) and now she has the most comfortable bed imaginable! The gel memory foam is so nice I want one for my bed! It is 5 inches so you need a box spring or platform bed because it wouldn't work well on slats. But other than that it is stress-free. You take it out of the box, and give it a few minutes to come back into shape (because it appears to be vacuum sealed to fit into the box), and that is it! You place it on the bed and you are ready to sleep! We set this up for her a few minutes before bedtime and she slept peacefully for the first time in weeks. I recommend.

    Okay, so first of all, this twin sized Rest Haven 5 Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress is super comfy. It just hugs you somehow, I really like it. I am actually using it as a mattress topper because mine is terribly uncomfortable. I have been sleeping on it for about a month now and so far it is still as nice as it was when I got it. It has a firmness to it, but it is also nice and soft, like what I think lying on a marshmallow would be like, if that makes sense. Some other family members did not care for it, as they have back issues and it was much too soft for that. It would probably be perfect as just a mattress for a child or a smaller person, but it isn't too bad alone for a 190 lb person like me either. The mattress showed up in quite a small box and took only minutes to expand to the size stated in the description. I measured it, and it doesn't quite hit 5 inches (see photos) but almost. The mattress comes with a cover that you can remove and wash which I am really happy about. I did not notice a smell or anything like a few other mattresses I have owned, either.

    Great Mattress For Children, Bunk Beds, & Guests
    I was very pleased to be offered this Rest Haven 5" Gel Memory Foam Mattress to review as we are having guests for the holidays and were wondering what they could sleep on. Both of our inflatable beds have leaks, and I have not found time to isolate the holes and patch them yet. This will be a definite step up from an inflatable bed anyway. One thing to note is that the mattress I received does not say "Rest Haven" brand on it. It states that it is made by "Linenspa." It appears to be the same mattress as offered by the Walmart Spark Reviewer Program. This mattress measures 80" x 39" x 5". It arrived all rolled up and compressed in a box, so it took approximately 24 hours to decompress or expand itself to the full 5" height. As can be seen in my photo, it does measure 5" high. This bed is most ideal for a child, bunk beds, or guests. If using directly on the floor, I threw a flat sheet on the floor first before putting the mattress on top of it to keep it clean. I would not use this as a memory foam mattress topper, as it is too solid for that. I think that mattress toppers have less high density foam than this mattress does. This mattress is 4" of high density base foam for support and stability. It then has one inch of gel-infused and ventilated foam on the top and a polyester blend, quilted cover. It weighs approximately 21 lbs. Since we have company arriving on Wednesday for Thanksgiving, I wanted to test out this mattress first. I tossed a sheet and some blankets on it last night and gave it a try. It was actually very nice and much more comfortable than the inflatable mattresses are. Also, if you have cats, they cannot stick their claws into this mattress and "deflate" it as ours did to the inflatable mattresses. This is a great purchase for what you are getting. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

    So comfortable!!
    I highly recommend the Rest Haven 5 Inch Gel Memory Foam Twin Mattress. The box it came in was smaller that I expected. It was double wrapped in plastic and when I unwrapped the mattress it fluffed up within several minutes. It is pretty light, easy to move, and it's extremely comfortable!

    Great soft and comfortable memory foam
    I received Rest Haven 5 Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress for my daughter and she loves it. My imaginative girl says it's like laying on a soft marshmallow floating in a sea of chocolate. She truly feels like the princess we say she is, sleeping like royalty.  I noticed she would fall asleep a lot faster with this comfortable contouring memory foam. I definitely recommend.

    Great mattress for kid or small person
    The fabric seems durable. It fluffs up to size fairly fast from the compressed, shrink wrapped package it is sent in. It could be used as soon as the same day as delivered. It is very comfortable to lay on. It is however, a bit thin to be considered a mattress for a full grown adult. The mattress has a cool to the touch feel. The memory foam seems to offer sufficient support and seems to hug you when you lay down on it. The sheets fit it well, the twin mattress fits the twin bed frame well. I give it 4 stars, only for the fact it could stand to be a bit thicker to support an average adult, but nice none the less.
