Anything that makes the chef's life easier . . .
I've never used oven bags before--for anything. I was very pleased with how these performed, though I wish I'd had someone to help me remove my (20 lb) stuffed turkey from the bag, once it was done. (Yeah, I know, I know--but I've been making it that way for decades, making the stuffing the night before so that it's cold when I put it into the bird, and I haven't poisoned a single family member or guest once.) The turkey was moist and tender, and the cleanup was so much easier. Well done, Reynolds wrap! Now I'm wondering: could you still put a bagged turkey in a metal cradle?

    Best route to go
    I always forget the flour but these are the easiest thing to use for hen cooking a Turkey or even a whole chicken.

    Seams fail on 30% of bags
    Cooking dozens of turkeys for Thanksgiving this year. So, using many bags. Seams fail on 30% of bags, while carefully placing the turkey in the bag. Haven't had this problem in past years. What happened to quality control? Bags work well otherwise.

    Easy Cleanups
    Bought this bags to put my turkey in every year. These bags really makes Thanksgiving and Christmas cleanups easy. When cooking you shake a little flour in the bag so its doesn't pop. But your turkey in the bag and let it cook. When turkey is done remove the turkey disguard the bag. Simple easy cleanups

    Wouldn't roast turkey without it
    I've been using this for years, they come in handy when I dry brine my turkey. Go directly into the roasting pan after dry brining. Helps save on cleanup
