Roku Ultra LT is a great value!
Roku Ultra LT is just like the Roku Ultra that costs more except it does not have a rechargeable remote, no remote finder, and lacks a USB port. None of these are issues for me. I prefer to use a remote that takes replaceable batteries (you can still use rechargeable AAs AND no waiting since they can easily be swapped out with a ready-to-go charged ones). [Rechargeable devices often have non-replaceable batteries effectively making the device disposable when battery no longer charges.] You can tuck an AirTag or Tile tracker in the Roku remote's slip-on cover (optional accessories). Use the USB port on the TV or router. Another option is to learn how to set up your own media server. It sounds complicated, but it's not. If you don't have high speed Internet or travel, the USB feature may be more useful. Make sure your Roku has the latest software. Mine easily connected to some bluetooth Beats headphones. You can also use the jack on the remote with headphones. AirPlay works well. Lots of free content. Channels are easy to add/delete. The Roku teaches you how to use it with helpful hints. Device comes with everything to get started including an HDMI cable, name brand batteries for the remote, and headphones. The headphones aren't the best, but at least you have a complete gift that can be used right away at no additional cost. For some it may be worth paying more than twice what this costs to get a rechargeable remote, built-in remote finder, and the USB. However, I found this model met my needs well. It was truly a Black Friday deal!

Good deal... if you get a new one
A really good deal for black Friday... If only I was sent a new one instead of an obviously used one. Delivered in a Walmart bag, and the Roku box was not closed properly and sealed with scotch tape. None of the cords baged, base of the Roku was dirty and had a sticker on it. Clearly the seller didn't care. Returned.

By far my favorite Roku so far! Upgraded from the little one, I love that the remote controls the TV on this, as well as it doesn’t need to be pointed at the TV to start, stop or anything once the TV is on. Worth the price and can be hidden behind something as to not be an eye sore.

Use Roku Ultra for a hardwired connection
I have used a Roku Streaming Stick Plus for the past 2 years and it's fine. But my Wi-Fi provider provides a slow and inconsistent signal to my neighborhood. I decided to hardwire from my router to my TV. I found I needed the Roku Ultra in order to do this, as it allows for a cat 6A cable hookup. I was able to get the Roku Ultra for a very good price and hooked it up with a 50 foot cable direct from the router. It has fixed the problems I have with my signal. Hard wire signals are more robust and faster. That's just the way it is.

    Worst Roku product ever made
This is the worst Roku product I've ever bought. Amazon Prime video keeps cutting off and saying change HDMI cable. Vudu has problems of freezing after pausing or rewinding movies. You have to restart the whole app just to start back where you pause at. Our last Roku lasted 10 years we've had this one for less than a week and is absolutely miserable trying to watch our shows and movies.

    Well worth upgrading.
LOVE THIS. Upgraded my Roku Elites because I liked the idea of private listening, as well as being able to turn on TV, change channels and volume with one remote. Have come to really like the Voice Command so I can speak what I want to Stream instead of searching up and down on the list. Also love the Aquarium Screensaver!!! For $30 it was one of the best purchases I have made this year!!

Good deal, exceptional during Black Friday sale
I bought this on a Black Friday special for $30. It's the same as the 2020 Roku Ultra minus the USB port, or the same as the 2022 one minus the USB and fancier remote with finder. It's absolutely awesome for the price. At regular price you have to decide if you care more about the USB or the ~$20 getting the LT model saves you. But this is an Ultra for the price of the cheapest stick during the Black Friday sale. If you're buying an Ultra variant over the cheap "stick" models, I assume you already know the Roku line and competing models so I'm not going into the feature set/performance.

This LT is no longer ULTRA, Missing SD Slot??
Purchased 2 of these for BF22 at $30, without realizing that the model has changed since launch. While it's still a good deal at this price, it is not really an "Ultra" anymore. Yes, you get a powerful box with ethernet and a voice remote with private listening, but the main "Ultra" feature cut from the "Ultra LT" was the USB port, which was offset by the still included MicroSD slot. Unfortunately, this new version of the LT is missing that slot meaning that your Ultra can only stream media instead of playing it natively, which was always one of the great strengths of the Ultra series because 1) if the Internet goes down, you can still watch stuff! 2) you can add more channels and not have to worry about apps having to clear off and redownload later when you go to use them due to space limitations. You may see this as just a minor annoyance, but for those of us that have an Ultra and use the Ultra to its full potential, this is a maddening feature cut.

I just picked up my new Roku Ultra LT from Walmart for $30.00 on Black Friday Deal. I could not be more pleased. I have used Rokus for years and was looking for a new device I could hook up using ethernet...and this unit's price cannot be beat! I fully recommend Roku as the streaming device of choice...for me.
