Awesome!
There's still a lot I need to learn with this tab, but I love what I've learned so far. The picture quality is incredible. Colors pop! It's not the best for a camera, but that's fine with me. I love the convenience of bringing this outside and the pen is a whole new experience for me that I love. I wouldn't use this in place of a laptop, but it works great when I need one on the go. I will be getting the keyboard for it, which will make this perfect for what I'm using it for.

Before I used iPads. Now A S7 Believer...Almost
I have done a lot of reviews in my time but this is truly the first time I was torn in writing one. I am an Apple girl through and through. From the very first iBook and iPhone, I was there 100% for any Apple product. Hand me an Android phone and I am struggling to find the home button. Up until last week, I have exclusively owned iPads and that's where this tablet comes in. I had been in the market for a new tablet since my daughter took over my iPad and then the opportunity to get the S7 presented itself. I did some research and decided why not? From everything I had read and seen, this tablet is supposed to be comparable to the iPad Pro, if not a little better. Samsung put a lot of work into this tablet to make it stand out from all the others on the market and it truly shows. The S7 boasts an 11 inch screen with superior graphics that make it not only perfect for entertainment uses, pleasing both gamers and streamers alike, but they also advertise that it is the solution to work at home and be on the go, meaning it can be your laptop replacement. With DEX mode, you can seamlessly switch between the tablet and laptop mode by clicking on the magnetic Samsung keyboard. Samsung clearly put a lot of work into trying to make the “laptop” mode work well for its users by allowing you to have three screens up at once, the new improvements to the keyboard and the ease of use. There is only one major problem, the keyboard is sold separately for $199 so after purchasing a $650 tablet you have to sink another $200 into the keyboard. Which, by the way, is still missing the function buttons at the top although the S7 Plus keyboard does have them. So to truly have the full laptop experience, you're looking at spending $850. I will leave that decision up to you. I personally have a laptop so that was not my primary reason for getting this tablet. Also, the battery life is pretty decent, especially if you don't run high streaming all day long. If I'm being fairly active on it I can get about 9 to 10 hours out of it and if I'm just lightly using it I can go for about 2 to 2 1/2 days on a charge. It has facial recognition and finger print security features although the finger print button on the side is a little touchy and facial recognition may bit work if you set it up with no makeup on and then choose to wear makeup and have your hair down ;) My reasoning for wanting this tablet was basic internet surfing, streaming and photo editing for my online business page. I am a Scentsy consultant so being able to take a post beautiful product images are essential to reaching my online customer base who I rely on to order based off of photos alone. In this department, this tablet knocks it out of the park! There are two cameras on the back and two on the front. This makes for INCREDIBLE photo taking abilities. Not only that, the second camera on the front of the screen is a horizontal camera which makes face timing or zooming so much easier angle wise because when you flip the tablet, the camera is already there and ready to capture the horizontal view so you can look straight ahead and not off to the left or right where traditional front facing cameras are. This was a huge plus to me. Also, the clarity and sharpness of the screen itself and graphics is impeccable! I thought I had seen amazing resolution before but nothing like this! Watching my shows on Netflix in 4K feels like it's happening right in front me. I suppose with the 120mhz refresh rate, that is exactly what is intended. Not only are shows incredible to watch, the few games I play are on a whole new level also! The detail of the graphics is out of this world! And as far as sound goes, it's really like a surround sound experience because of the quad speakers. There are two speakers on each side of the table at the top and the bottom. The sound is crisp and punches out beautifully. It definitely gets an A+ in this department. Some other cool features include the new redesigned S pen. I have never worked with one before but apparently the one on previous models was super laggy. This one is only 9mm of a second behind so you hardly even notice. You can also use the pen to do air motions like play or pause a video, turn the sound up or down, go back to the previous screen, go to the home page and many others. The pen charges by placing it on the magnetic glass strip on the back of the tablet by the camera and when you connect it up, it will show you how charged it is. Pretty awesome. You can also use the pen for coloring and taking notes. The tablet literally gives you the option to use a function of writing in your own handwriting on the screen to take notes, sign things or just write in what you're searching for or where you want to go. I was super impressed with that. Bixby is also something new to me. I'm used to Siri from my iPhone and iPad. With Bixby, you train it to your voice and then you can say Hi Bixby to pull it up and ask it to do any command like take a screenshot or turn on your TV at home once you set it up in Smart Things. You can even set up commands based on daily activities so for example if you tell Bixby you're on your way home, it will play music or adjust the screen brightness...whatever you choose to set it up to do. I tell Bixby it's bed time and it turns on my Do Not Disturb and lowers the brightness. You will spend hours figuring out all the cool things Bixby has to offer. I could seriously go on for ages about all the cool features but I'll leave it to you to find out for yourself. What I want to talk about now is the cons with this tablet and what prevented me from giving it five stars which I really wanted to give but had to be truthful not only with myself, but also with other consumers and the company so that maybe in the future some of these issues can be corrected. As I said before, I am an Apple user through and through. From the first iPhone and iBook up until last week, every electronica that was in my house for the most part was an Apple product. Samsung has made it a point to compare of us tablet to the iPad Pro in an attempt to corner the market and game new customers in the process. I can only assume based on the marketing and comparison to the iPad Pro, that they want specifically to target Apple consumers such as myself. With that in mind, I think it's important to point out that they need to remember Apple users are much like myself in that they probably have all Apple products, which also means that should they switch over to Samsung, they are coming into Android as a novice. I was so excited to receive the tablet and when I opened it up, it came in a beautifully packaged box that opened to reveal the tablet itself a charger and adapter and a small to page getting started essentials guide. I had really looked forward two having some sort of material inside the box that would help me navigate the tablet since I know absolutely nothing about this type of operating system. To my disappointment I was basically sent in blind. The two page start up guide was basically about charging the tablet and turning it on and what the buttons on the sides could do, which I am sure is helpful, don't get me wrong, but it isn't what I needed. I come from a completely different operating system and once I got everything up and running literally had no clue what kind of features the tablet had or how to work them and for the first time in my life, I really felt dumb and clueless. I spent hours searching for how to videos and reviews that could maybe help me shed some light on things like Bixby and Samsung notes and the coloring app. I finally gave up looking for videos and went to the Samsung website and downloaded the user manual. I have to admit, after being so excited to receive this tablet, it was a little frustrating feeling so discouraged out the gate and not being able to work it fully. Also, as an Apple user my headphones are lightning charger headphones so I was very dismayed to find that didn't even come with a pair of compatible headphones. All of my Apple products come with basic plug in headphones with each device. Maybe I am being so picky but my point is that for a company who wants to capture attention in business of a competitors market and bring them in as customers needs to consider these types of things. For someone switching from Apple and spending $650, a pair of headphones should be included. Is this a deal breaker? Absolutely not, but now I have to go out and find a set of headphones that will work and I like. So my recommendation would be to take those small little things into consideration because you can't assume that every person who buys one of these tablets already knows how to operate it or has the necessary accessories to do so. Other than that, I am extremely happy with this tablet and will definitely be recommending it to all of my friends and family. All of my coworkers have already heard about it and my daughter and her friends keep begging me to let them use it. It is definitely a quality tablet with several incredible features that absolutely make it worth the price tag. I truly look forward to continuing to learn even more about what it has to offer and I'm definitely much more open to the idea of getting more Samsung products. I just hope that they remember that targeting us Apple freaks means that we aren't as fluent in Android as the people who are upgrading their old Samsung tablets are, that already have all of the accessories and knowledge about the operating system. Treat Each new release of a product as if it is the first time anyone is using that product and needs all the basic knowledge and user friendly things to make the experience a happy one.

Tablet and Pencil for one price.
I previously owned the “SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab A 8.0 32 GB WiFi Android 9.0 Pie Tablet - SM-T290NZKAXAR” but realized the mini tablet is too small for me. I then got the “SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 Wi-Fi” and this was perfect. I used it a lot, but I always wanted to draw. My daughter has the Apple IPad with Pencil and loves it. So, when I had the chance to get the “SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S7 (Wi-Fi) S Pen Included” I went for it. This tablet is awesome. This tablet is a bit heavy, but I feel like it is one of the best Android tablets I have used so far. I mainly use it to stream movies while I am on the treadmill. The picture is great and the sound is awesome. I also use it to play games which I have not noticed any lagging or any performance issues while playing the games. The pencil is very light and connects to the back magnetically on the Tablet as it charges. What is really nice is the case I have will help me not misplace or lose the pencil. The pencil is very light and very easy to use. It is actually fun to use instead of your finger. My daughter actually prefers this Samsung pencil over the Apple. The one thing I do not like is that the pencil has a flat side to it. I have gotten used to it, but I do think Samsung can come up with a better design for it. If you like Android, this is a tablet you should try out.

    Best Tablet I've Ever Had
There is no lag time with this tablet, it moves from screen to screen very fast. the picture is beautiful and the sound is awesome. Sound is better on this than a certain tv I have. Two things I don't like about this tablet is the fact that the magnetic Pen comes off very easily so therefore it's easy to misplace and there is no head phone jack. Call me "old school" but I just still would rather a wired headset. Overall it has way more positives then negatives and therefore is a five star tablet in my book.

    Awesome Tablet!
I am so excited to have received this tablet from Walmart! I have used this tablet every day ever since I got it, that is how much I have enjoyed it. So far it has done really good. The design is really sleek, and the product itself is basically like a giant phone. I can do everything on this tablet that I can do on my phone. The tablet even comes with a stylist pen that can be used to draw, play games, type, and it even has shortcut command features that can maneuver the tablet without having to click a ton of buttons. The tablet does not come with a keyboard but I hear a lot of people prefer to have one with it. I purchased a protective case for it because it is really lightweight and sleek, it seemed really easy to almost drop it without one because there is no grip to it. The camera is good quality and all the app features connected to the camera work well and offer some unique art/lenses features with the stylist pen. Security on thist is really good too. You can choose between multiple secure options to keep it locked like a fingerprint scan which is located on the power button, the number passcode one, or the pattern lock. I believe it even let's you set up multiple of these in case you forget how to unlock the tablet with one. Lastly the charging port is the other thing I noticed is a little different. It is the C port style charger now and can even use the newer Samsung phone chargers if needed. Battery life for this is really good as well, this tablet has lasted me 4+ days just using the drawing app that came on it along with YouTube and a few other game apps. It even charges really fast with the supplied charger and shows how long it has left before fully charged. Overall I absolutely love this Samsung tablet and really want to get another one for my family to enjoy.

    Solid Performance Android Tablet
A great android tablet - if not one of the best out there today. Sleek and thin design. Beautiful displayed graphics. Quality: 4/5 Design: 4/5 Value: 5/5 Pros: brilliant display, amazing speakers, the S pen is quick to respond and such a joy to use the note app. fingerprint reader. facial recognition Cons: battery won't last the full day of work. Android apps. Would need a case. Can't multitask well. Overall: 4/5 It is an all-screen tablet with thin bezels and an aluminum frame. It's what I need when I look for a tablet about its screen. The tablet is thin and light - 10 x 6.5 x 0.2 inches and 1.1 pounds. I can use it comfortably for hours. On the back, there is a horizontal magnetic strip for the included S-Pen and a small camera raised panel. There is a USB-C connector for power and data transfer on the right, and on the top edge there is a power button - which also is a fingerprint sensor - and the volume toggle. However, when I use landscape mode, the fingerprint is located at an awkward place for my fingers to reach. There's an SD memory reader for expanding local storage and a pogo connector on the bottom for connecting the keyboard (not included). A pair of speakers sit on either side of the tablet. I'm very impressed with the stunning display of this tablet - the colors are vivid and very crisp (off of a 4K video on social media). It's bright enough to use in direct sunlight without any problems. It has a buttery smooth display and refresh rate. One of my favorites is the sound quality! It's so good. The echoing mixed with a little bit of bass. Watching movies and music videos on this tablet is terrific! When I have more than two dozen apps and as many tabs open, things start to slow down and lag. The battery also didn't last all day for me. I don't use tablets for photography purposes. But the front facing camera is good for zoom video conference calls. The rear camera is great as well. In full lighting, the rear cameras can take nice photos. I love the note-taking app on this tab: Samsung Notes app sync across its phones, tablets and even its PC app. There's also an ability to record audio and insert it into a notes file. I can hear what I said while I took specific notes. Samsung Notes also offers to convert handwriting into more legible words. However, multitasking is not all there yet. The S-pen feels like an actual pen - which is great. The tip is soft. It feels natural to write. Doodling is a fun experience with Samsung Notes. There is a sound effect that comes on whenever the pen tip touches the screen...i don't know how to feel about it yet. Overall: The tablet has a nice display, good speakers, a fast processor. It's not up for multitasking like Ipad Air. However, with all the pros that it has, I consider it to be my mid to high end tablet. Well-done. Dimensions: 10 by 6.5 by 0.3 inches Weight: 1.2 lbs Screen Size: 11 inches Screen Resolution: 2,560 by 1,600 pixels Storage Capacity: 128 GB Battery Life: 5 hours 28 minutes

    LOVE Samsung
I'm a huge fan of all Samsung products. I have always had a 100% trust in Samsung products, because they always deliver. So does this tablet. 11" for a tablet is a pretty good size. Set up was easy and simple. I love being able to automatically upload everything from my cellphone to this tablet, I especially love being able to make phone calls from this tablet. Design is sharp and sleek, very thin, but sturdy. The screen is an LCD screen with bright, sharp, life like colors. The feature of the pen is amazing, makes it a breeze to navigate through the device and doesnotscratchthe surface. I love how the pen magnetically attaches to the back for easy charge and storage. 128 GB of memory speaks for itself, this tablet is a beast, it's like having a compact size PC at all times. Battery life is quite average, lasts about the whole day, depending on what you are working on and how long. All and all, this is an amazing product hands down, I swear by Samsung products because they stand behind their products.

One of the best tablets available right now!
So far my experience with this tablet has been great, the battery does very well, I'm averaging 9 hours of video streaming, regular web surfing and app usage for 8-9 hours has only used 20% of the battery, the tablet is noticeably smoother and quicker than my S6 Lite, not that the S6 Lite is slow or anything, but the S7 is definitely worth the extra expense, the four speakers are very loud and clear with an impressive amount of bass for such tiny speakers, the only glaring fault so far with the tablet is the 15 volume steps, which make it impossible to set the volume at an ideal level with the volume buttons, the bare minimum should be 30 steps, my Pixel 4a 5G has 25 volume steps which is manageable, the only way to really set this tablet to an ideal volume level is to bring up the volume level on the screen and drag it with the pen, it's a pain but it works. The Screen is very nice, the blacks are acceptable for a LCD Display and colors are nice and vibrant, it's plenty bright enough to use outside in the sun, but for indoor use I find that 1/4 brightness is more than bright enough and the S Pen works great, it really makes it easy to type and drawing with it is fun, connectivity with the wifi has been great, with a full signal anywhere in the house and even out in the yard. The best thing about this tablet though is the 16:9 aspect ratio which makes it more practical for social media apps and videos, I've owned some Android Tablets that had a 4:3 aspect ratio like the Nexus 9 and they sucked for everything but book reading which I do on my Nook anyway, I quickly sold them, if Apple ever made an iPad with a 16:9 ratio it would out sell the other iPads tenfold easily, the lame aspect ratio is the #1 reason millions of people avoid the iPad and just one of the many reasons the Tab S7 is superior. The one thing that would really make this the perfect tablet would be a full photo editing app like Photoshop or Gimp, maybe Samsung will develop one in house and a full animation app would be awesome and would steal some sales from Microsoft.

    A good tablet!
There are lots of things to like about this tablet. This is my first tablet, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it's been fun. It's very easy to set up as I had it synched with my phone in just a few minutes. The color and sharpness are fantastic. The S pen that comes with it works very well. The tablet is a breeze to operate, especially for a novice. It is light, just a little over a pound and has an 11-inch display screen. The speakers are good and the processor is fast. There are only two negatives I have encountered so far. First, the fingerprint sensor can be a bit unpredictable. Sometimes it works easily and other times I have real problems with it. I think the angle of the tablet is the problem, so I'm not too concerned with it. Second, the battery life is so-so. It seems to drain fairly rapidly, and I have to keep my eye on it. All in all, I am pretty happy with this tablet. I believe that is in large part to also having a Samsung phone. I think I'll be spending less time on my laptop in the future!

    Great New Tablet
I do have to say, I was impressed by the crisp images on this tablet. Although when using apps all the content can not be seen on all of them and you need to go to the full web site, that's why I gave it a 4 star rating. It has a great drawing app, (see picture) that if you take the time you can learn to do anything you can imagine with it. The Pen which is included (iPads you need to buy your own), allows you to make even the worst hand writing be recognized by the app. Although I did notice that even when turning on the Auto Correct a few times it did not catch a misspelled word, which if you're writing an important document can put you in a bad situation. So it has wonderful things about it that everyone will love, and like any product others will find certain things that are just a deal breaker for them. I myself am willing to look past some of the flaws when there are so many great attributes. Plus for what you get in the whole package it's definitely worth it.

    This tablet is Awesomeness!
This Samsung tablet is well worth the price! The displays are fantastic! The colours are vivid! I'm impressed with the processor speed! The tablet itself is a convenient size. The speakers are great and sound good at high volume! I couldn't be more enthusiastic about the S pen! Very cool! The only thing that I wasn't crazy about was that there's port to plug in my headphones. But all and all, I'm really digging this tablet!
