I've been looking to get a Sound Bar for quit sometime. Decided to pickup this Samsung. Glad I did. It sounds fantastic. I used it while watching a movie through a streaming app. Sound was amazing. I also used it with a music app on my phone via the blue tooth feature again the sound was amazing. Besides sounding great it easy to hook up. It does have only three input options. They are Digital Optical, blue tooth and USB. It came with the digital optical cable. Besides the sound Bar and Subwoofer it has two satellite rear speaker. It has an adapter that allows them to be "wireless". There are wires but they plug into an adapter. It was easy to get them to connect to the sound bar. If you are looking for a good 4.1 sound bar at a good price you should definitely consider this one.

Looks Nice!
This soundbar and speaker system looks really nice. The setup instructions are really good if you are able to connect wirelessly via bluetooth. Unfortunately, my TV is not bluetooth enabled so I have to figure out the correct way to connect this via USB or other means. Because I have a separate tuner, and lots of components all connected together, this process has been very difficult. I have confidence that we will figure it out eventually, but I can't state unequivocably that the soundbar provides great sound as I have not yet heard it. The quality of the product seems to be really good. I searched online for a user manual or something that might give me clearer instructions for setting up with a non-bluetooth tv, but couldn't find anything. I answered that we use this every day because we will once we manage to connect it, but we don't yet.

    Bass is great, but "surround" effect is lacking
    The relatively easy setup (pairing the subwoofer to the soundbar and then pairing the wireless rear speakers to the soundbar) is pretty straightforward. If you own a Samsung TV, setup is pretty magical where you can control the surround sound system automatically via your TVs remote. Pros: - Easy setup and pairing with wireless subwoofer and rear speakers - Electrical wiring is straightforward (3 cords total: 1 for soundbar, 1 for subwoofer, 1 for rear speaker wireless receiver) - Bass is awesome, probably only great audio aspect of this system - Rear speakers are compact Could Be Better: - "Surround" effect feels super artificial. The rear speakers seem to play the same audio but just at a different volume; there's absolutely no isolated "spatial" channel audio that I've been able to detect. In other words, if something is off screen to the right, I hear it from all speakers...not just the right-side speakers. - Rear speakers almost always have a slight buzzing/staticky noise, though faint, but quite audible in quiet scenes. - Soundbar audio seems echo-y, hollow, just not that good. - No HDMI input, makes ARC impossible. - Soundbar screen is lacking in functionality, very cheap looking. In all, giving it 4 stars only because the subwoofer is doing much better job than my old system and it's super nice to have convenience of wireless rear speakers. But soundbar audio is substantially inferior than my older Samsung 2.1 soundbar...and just too much of a hassle to switch it back at this point. Also, note that the rear speakers are on stands I purchased separately; they are NOT included with this system...but I'd recommend if your living room setup allows.

    Great speakers
    Ok so first of all very load cant even turn it all the way up in my apartment. speakers from the sound bar are really good but they are definitely better Samsung soundboard out but for the price you cant beat it. the back wireless speakers are amazing just make sure you go into your sound bar settings and turn them up btw they are the 8500 series back speakers . The sub is absolutely amazing makes everything sound 1000 times better. you should absolutely get this if your on a budget and even if your not there great speakers if your not super picky plus comes with brackets that are super easy to mount it on wall down side is you do need 2 screws for the things that screw into wall that mount it but not to big of deal

    More sound without the wire
    Set up is a breeze. Good sound quality. Samsung soundbars tend to offer a good, well-balanced, and neutral sound profile right out-of-the-box, which is versatile for different uses. Some soundbars do have a bit of extra bass, thanks to their wireless subwoofer. Great connectivity options.

    Omg my husband connected this sound bar to our television and it sounded like we were at the movie theater! I love this sound bar so much! We will be putting this sound bar to good use. Our movie nights are going to be so much better! I would definitely recommend this Samsung sound bar!

    No HDMI in or out
    I have to start by saying that my son was disappointed that there was no HDMI port. Instead, there was only a USB and optical port. Therefore he couldn't connect the sound bar to his TV or Original Playstation 4. However, he was able to connect his phone and computer via bluetooth and when he did, it had great sound quality. He really likes the surround-sound set-up but, it would be even better if he could use it while watching a movie or playing a game.

    I'm loving it!
    I have a Samsung curved screen TV from 2017 that I love, and this soundbar paired perfectly with it. Since I had never set up a soundbar before, I scanned the code on the quick set up instructions and used the full version online. The two wireless speakers do need to be connected with speaker wire (included) to the receiver. The receiver needs to be plugged in, but it does not need to be connected to the TV or soundbar. The wiring is color-coded for the right and left speakers. At first I had a problem with the TV staying connected to the Soundbar but the online instructions told how to change that by holding down a button on the remote. The sound on my TV was good, but this is so much better. I was in another room and heard something crashing to the floor, so I ran into the living room thinking the cats broke a lamp. It turned out to be the TV show, but it sounded like it was in the room! I also found that I can hear conversations on the TV better and I can keep the sound lower now. Before, I had a problem distinguishing soft voices sometimes, especially when music was playing. The system came with everything needed to set it up, even batteries for the remote. It has a Dolby audio and uses Bluetooth to pair. The setup looks very elegant and sounds fantastic. You can't go wrong with it!

    Samsung 4.1 Soundbar with Subwoofer and rear speakers is packaged well and easy to set up. Controller has volume controls for sound and subwoofer. System is loud and sounds like the movie theater. Subwoofer definitely sounds group and gives every movie a better sound.

    Outstanding Sound Quality!
    Wow! Where do I start? I literally hooked this sound bar up within minutes, no instructions needed (although, included), no problem. It's THAT easy. I use this sound bar with an LG television. With my LG television, I have a MagicRemote, which unfortunately overrides the Samsung sound bar remote. However, it all works SEAMLESSLY! Hooks up so easily on Bluetooth. I can honestly say, I have yet to turn this sound bar off. I have the television on, all day, every day. I prefer this sound system to the standard speakers on my television, by far. I have watched tv programs, movies, internet tv, etc. and it ALL sounds GREAT! It's depth is outstanding. Several times, I have looked around to realize, it's the sound system, not outside noise. Impressive sound from the wireless sub-woofer. The small, surround sound speakers DO have wires, but the wires are easily hidden. You will not regret upgrading to this sound system. Love it!
