You cant tell its refurbished.
My singer is beautiful. It works great with all sorts of different fabrics and more user friendly than any machine I've used.

Defective machine/foot pedal
I had to return the sewing machine. It looked great coming out of the box and was easy to set up. But as soon as I tried to sew with it the machine took off on its own, sewing at a very high speed. There was no way I could stop it from sewing either by taking my foot off the foot pedal or pumping it. I had to turn it off at the switch but by that time the machine had jammed with thread down into the bobbin case. The foot pedal was obviously defective. I really wanted to like the machine but I was very disappointed that whoever "refurbished" the machine didn't test it with the foot pedal included with it.

    Works good but my hands don't
    I like the fact I could get on YouTube and watch it be used before I tried to use it. I could not get the hang of it though because I have tremors in my hands.

    I purchased this machine as a back up. I allowed my friend to use it when I was not there and she lived it so much that We bought this one for her. Now we both use this Heavy Duty nachine. Love it ❤️

    Thank you Singer for creating quality machines!
    I grew up with my mother owning a Singer. They just feel different than any other machine I've tried. (I've killed three other brands in the past ten years. Usually by the end of the first project.) I have completed five projects and I'm half way through six and seven on this new Singer. I am very impressed with the 6600C. My mother's machine was black and had a reversable plate for selecting a stitch (early-mid 90's). I think it had 100+ stitches. It may have had more stitch options but the 6600C sewed through canvas and denim like it was butter! I love it and I hope that it lasts longer than my mothers (which was a very long time)!

    Beautiful working machine
    The Singer Heavy Duty 6600C sewing Machine is top notch. It has a lot of stitch applications for numerous of sewing things you want to do. I love the LED screen so I knew what I was selecting for my stitching, width and length of my fabric. The threading was so easy for me on this machine than my other one plus the metal frame is heavy duty and will me a long time. I enjoyed using my Singer 6600C Sewing Machine.

    Good machine but problems
    My wife loves this Singer but it has problems. It has lowered the needle all by itself. It has run all by itself pulling in the thread tails till it jammed up. Now we notice that the needle is hitting the hook in right needle positions. We don't feel we should have to pay for $$$ shipping to a Singer repair facility as the machine is less than 30 days old and has hardly been used. It looks like it will be returned.

    The Best Sewing machine ever
    SINGER - Heavy Duty 6600C Sewing Machine is Computerized. The machine is so easy to use for any crafter it doesn't matter if you're a beginner or pro. This machine has all of the settings you'll ever need to make any rather it's clothing or bedding. The functions are very clear and the digital indicator helps with selecting the right stitching mood. It's easy to thread and will complete any task you might put it up to. Recommended to all my friends and family.
