Makes sewing easy
For 30 years, I have been using a Scholastic model Singer that I bought used. I didn't mind that it had very basic features, because I am a very basic sew-er. What drove me crazy is that it intermittently produced loopy loops on the back of the fabric. I dreaded having to sew something because I hated that result so much. I haven't done a lot of sewing with my new machine yet, but so far I absolutely love it. I didn't know sewing could be so stress-free and enjoyable! I suggest watching the YouTube videos made for this model; those explained bobbin winding and needle threading very clearly. This is a wonderful machine for someone who wants a reliable, simple machine. I'm glad I bought it!

Started out find..
Not a happy camper.......I got this sewing machine because of the price and it
was a singer..I have always had a singer sewing machine. Will be caring this one back for a replacement... The bobbing was causing it to not let me make my stitches to come out right.

The quick set up instructions were really simple to follow. Filling the bobbin and threading this machine is such a breeze. It didn't take long at all! Everything that I could possibly need is at my finger tips with this awesome sewing machine! I can't believe all of the different stitches this amazing machine can do and it does them all very well! I love that it is easy to set up with only one plug (foot pedal attached to machine cord) and fairly light meaning that you can choose where you'd prefer to sew. Pros: The new machine is so much faster and is quieter compared to an almost 50-year-old one. I like the separate bobbin winding feature, the removable piece for sewing difficult sections, and the compartment to hold small, often-used tools. Con (and it's a big one): There is a problem with the bobbin tension. This is a huge issue because it's not something that can be easily resolved. Another person mentioned this in their review of their M3220 machine on another page. If I can get this resolved I will add stars. For now, unfortunately it's just two stars.JaCinda B.
