Works well
I received the SPRI easy adjust counting hand grip and it's very easy to use. It's made of a hard plastic making it pretty durable. It has a resistance ranging from 20 to 80 lbs and it's very easy to adjust the resistance to what you want it to be. It has a counter on it so every time you squeeze it it counts the number of how many times you've squeezed it and it's easy to reset the counter. It definitely is a workout for the hand and forearm muscles.

Gotta keep my own count
This is a review of the SPRI Easy-Adjust Counting Hand Grip product. The handgrip can adjust this handgrip infinitely, and I welcome increasing the tension as needed. These also have a counter on them at the bottom. If I have any complaints, it would be about the counter not being accurate during the routine. Let me explain; when you start a routine, the counter is at zero, and every full squeeze ends with a click, and the counter advances up a number by one. However, I observed the counter go from number 59 to the 9 flipping over to 0, but the 5 did not flip over to the 6 as expected; instead, it remained on the 5. The counter was now showing a count of 50 and not 60. So I thought this might be a glitch or something. I then reset ed the counter and tried again. It flipped back to 50 again. I attempted this reset four more times with no success.  You can still do the exercises to strengthen your hands and wrist without issues, but there is no functioning counter. I have to do my own count again, like how it was back in the day. I do still recommend this product, but no five stars here. I hope this was a defect only on this one.

Great for forearm flexors, counter not durable.
Great stress reliever while strengthening your grip. Working from home has been very stressful and this has helped with the stress. Easy one hand adjustable tension. Love the counter on it. The click of the counter gives a nice positive affirmative indicator that you're completing full range of motion in the grip movement. Really makes a difference over other grip exercisers. You need to watch that you don't turn the counter backwards as it broke on me. I was able to disassemble and fixed but it broke again. They should have made the counter advance trigger out of something more durable than plastic as that's the big selling point of this grip exerciser for me. As long as you treat it how you should though, it should be fine. The counter advance/reset knob is very clear as to which direction it is supposed to turn. Otherwise the grip is really well constructed, solid, comfortable, and the easy to turn wheel to create adjustable tension works great. I found myself just clicking away while sitting at my PC for work as it's almost addictive and gives a good workout to your forearm flexor muscles. This would easily be a perfect five star product if the counter was a bit more durable.

Great product for for almost everyone
I have used this SPRI easy adjustable with counter hand grip as well as my adult daughter who is 18 years post stroke and trying to maintain her hand strength. We had slightly different experiences so thought I would share both. At first my daughter had a little trouble squeezing the grips all the way to engage the counter but within a day she was able to accomplish this every time. Also the grip handles are not cushioned and her skin is more delicate so her hand got red. We decided to put on a pair of light gloves and that helped. However for myself I had no issue at all and did not wear gloves. I found this to be a nice item with sturdy construction for average usage. Grip has adjustable resistance from 20-80 lbs but you can't set the exact resistance, the dial just moves me up or down. There is a built in counter with a reset button which you must push and turn. It's in small print so if you don't see well and don't PUSH and turn it takes longer to reset. Lastly, I want to mention the free App. Get it on Google Play or in App Store. It doesn't have a great rating at this time but the developers seem to be listening to comments and responding. It doesn't have anything geared towards this product but does for some their other products and it's free. You might find it nice.

    A tough one to review
I have no frame of reference with regard to using this type of device. It seems like a quality built product. I just cannot assess if it would be much of a challenge for someone who already has strong hands. The digital counter is nice not only for keeping track but also forcing one to completely squeeze the device ...if one doesn't the counter will not make the distinctive click.

    ADjustable Hand Grip
Just got this yesterday. Sturdy though basic hard plastic. Works well, adds up with every squeeze. It took me a second to familiarize myself with the reset function, but this is functional with no real surprises. I'll see how long it lasts.

    Good
This hand grip is made of hard plastic. The spring looks heavy duty. It fits well in my hand. It gives my hand, wrist and forearm a good workout. The counter works fine. There is a wide range of resistance. The amount of resistance is easy to change.

I almost didnt purchase after reading a couple poor reviews. They definitely had me guessing whether I wanted to spend my money or not but I took a chance. Im glad I did. Its helped me where I needed the help and works as it should. I appreciate the adjustable resistance. For those saying the counter doesnt work because it doesnt align are just not correct. They need to loosen their resistance so they can pull it back straight. If youre pulling it back wrong, you must be using it wrong. Dont read those other reviews. Buy it. It does what its supposed to do. Its not a Tesla! Its a grip strengthener.
