Handle
Could have had a better handle to hold while trying to use to fill something. Hard to hold is dark and your alone and trying to hold a flashlight. Also the vent while fueling seems to be limited as the can sides suck in on it self and gas slows down coming out as almost like a vapor lock is going to happen. e a better handle

Complete Rubbish
Hard pass on this can. Unless you are pouring gas onto the ground, I can see why anyone would want this thing. This can has lalmost no redeemable value. The safety mechanism makes it challenging to pour when full, and also it's impossible to pour from the can into my car. Waste of money.

Adding the plastic filter is stupid
There is an additional plastic filter at the gas can entrance. It interferes with the gas station nozzle. I gladly carried this gas can in my trunk. Guess what happened at the gas station? Either the nozzle shut off constantly, or gasoline spilled out from the entrance hole. I had to go back home and used special tool to destroy the filter. Whoever comes up with this stupid filter should be fired immediately.

    a pain to operate
Difficult to open valve and keep it open. Requires both hands to dispense. Doesn't leak when at rest and seems sturdy. Ended up spilling gas on first use. Would be good for storage but not for putting fuel in modern cars.

    Defective can nozzle
Bought 2 in Feb and filled with gas for emergency use. First time one can was used gas nozzle leaked all over car. The oil ring inside the nozzle was defective and did not make a seal. This is not something I would not expect so I did not examine the components in time to return item.

I have only had this item for a few months and the rubber seal has dry rottened and broke within that short time, which caused the gas can to leak. also the hande that you push when you would like to start pouring the gas is kinda hard to deal with and if you dont use it offten it gets stuck.

    Better and Cheaper are available.
This can has some pretty neat features and than one that keeps it from being a 5 star review. The can seems sturdy, decently thick plastic and the spout is actually easy to use. The handle is comfortable to grip but having the one handle it would be difficult to lift a full can, a second handle would make lifting and tilting the can much easier. however, that brings us to that -3 star feature. There is a plastic strainer inside the filling port of the can to keep debris out of your fuel. This plastic strainer is placed in a manner than perhaps a quarter of the fuel I tried to put in this can ended up splashing back out of the can... and it was a lot. I tried barely squeezing the handle on the pump and no matter what the force of the fuel hitting that strainer resulted in splash back. I tried just barely putting the nozzle into the port and it still was splashing back out of the can. I finally got so fed up that after pumping 3 gallons of fuel I wound up with a five gallon can that was less than half full that's how much fuel I wasted trying to fill this can. I wont use this can again until I figure out how to remove the strainer.... which I should have done before I tried to fill the can the first time.

    Dangerous
Let's set aside that this can requires you to lift up to 40 pounds of fuel above the item to be filled, then tilt it to get that short spout into the receptacle, while holding down the release lever. That you can kind of see by looking at it. When I buy an overpriced, over-complicated gas can, I expect that money goes into safety. Apparently not. Within a week of purchase, I came outside to find this can permanently deformed from being overpressurized. It now looks like it could serve as a stunt double in a remake of “The Red Balloon.” Don't buy this one.

    Worst can ever!
Worst gas can I ever bought. The lever in the handle wasn't on correctly and would not work. After messing with it for about 20 minutes finally got it working. When I tried to put gas in it according to the instructions it kept overflowing. Had to squeeze the gas pump handle for about 5 seconds at a time. Took about 15 minutes to fill 5 gallons. Then the spout wouldn't fit in the hole in my gas tank and the way the gas tank lid opened, the can was too big to tilt it enough to pour out gas. Finally had to use a siphon hose from the can to the tank to get gas out but it wouldn't go past the internal flame restriction and could only get about 3 gallons out that way. I should have sent it back at the first problem. Will probably discard the can since I already put gas in it.

Not made for an old man's hands
If you have hands of steel this can might work out for you. I couldn't hold the valve open, and lift 40 pounds of fuel, and angle it enough to get the fuel in my mower. I ordered Easy Flow spouts.
