EXCELLENT BIG SCREEN TV
After reading many negative reviews, I felt it was worth taking a shot and purchased this TV. Maybe I just got lucky and got a good one, but for the price, I am very impressed with the size, the vibrant colors and the overall quality. The speakers are not the greatest but you can adjust them in the control panel to improve the sound. I like the legs that came with it, that are not cheap plastic, but rather metal. It took me less than 5 minutes to hook it up and enjoy viewing my shows. If you are looking for Bang for your buck and want a 55" TV, this is a great choice.

So after a year, I'm giving my rating.
When I first purchased this item I was thrilled. A 4K TV for under $450. Now I wish I had just saved a little more and spent the extra $200-$300 for a different brand. STAY CLEAR OF THIS. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! I'm slowly having pixlas fail. There in the past months and the TV is out of warranty. Walmart prides there self with quality and this TV is junk. There pixals fail in just over a year is unacceptable. This TV has never been abused. It was hung on the wall and never touched. The picture shows one of the three failed pixels, it's annoying to watch.

    Second Spectre TV .. perfection!
    This is my 2nd Sceptre TV. I still have my first TV.. just wanted another one for my room. I decided to go with sceptre again because I’ve had my first one for almost 4 years and it’s still in great condition in all ways you can think of! Never have had any issues w it and everything is still as perfect as before. Received this one and it came packaged very well and in great condition. Set it up and everything is working perfectly. This one is a newer edition and the quality of picture and audio is great!! Definitely recommend going with this company. I sure will!

    Busted during shipping
    Got it for my daughter for Christmas, it was shipped to the house she opened it on Christmas day and it was busted!! I should have read the warnings about the shipping will be taking it back...

    Dead pixel in the first day
    Don't buy it. I returned after I saw a dead pixel. I read the review and people say it works perfect at the beginning then dead pixels start appear. I returned it.

    Amazing T.V! Good quality, doesn't come with Roku system but you can buy a Roku and it works perfectly. If you are thinking of using a sound bar with the T.V, I tried to use a ONN sound bar and it didn't worked (try with another brand). Still, the sound quality of this T.V is amazing!

    This 55 inch sceptre television is awesome! I love, love, love it! I bought it in November 2020. I spent Thanksgiving day setting it up along with a sound bar! (You definitely have to get a sound bar for these kinds of televisions otherwise the sound is way too tinny!) I am by no means young - (retired two years ago so you get the drift!) - but I managed to get it all put together in addition to a new TV stand! It took a while but it was well worth it! Plug n play? Well, almost. There are plenty of tutorials on You Tube - watch them! The picture is beautiful, the sound is excellent of course thats because I have a sound bar ;). I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. Interestingly I paid $239 for this television, I see the price went up! Even at the higher price its well worth it!

    4K! High Def! Extra Pixels! Brand Name? Who Cares?
    I was very apprehensive about purchasing this TV because I've never heard of the brand name Scepter before. However I'd be an idiot to pass up such a deal on this past B. Friday due to a brand name. So far, I'm in love with this 4k flat screen. The high definition is incredible! Everything is so lifelike, that I feel like I'm in the scene with the actors. Of course only certain channels, movies

    HDR for under $250!?
    Description lists this TV as having 4 HDMI ports, it only has 3. The sound is awful, so you will need a soundbar or surround sound. Honestly, those are the only issues I have. For the price, this is an incredible TV. 55" with HDR for under $240. Games look great. Movies look great. Win-win.

    Really great deal
    This is my second Sceptre TV. First was a 50 inch that I purchased six years ago. Never had an issue with it, in fact we still use it daily in the kids playroom. Just picked up a 55 inch 4K for less money than what I paid for the 50 inch TV 6 years ago, and I thought I got a good deal then. For the price- you cant beat it. I use an Apple TV for both, so I have no need for a smart TV.
