My Lawn looks Great thanks to Scotts' Products
I purchased my Scotts Elite Spreader two years ago in October and I spread Scotts products as directed on the Scotts App. My lawn looks better than it did in all the years prior to using the Scotts spreader. Thank you Scotts!

Bolts falling out on first use.
Bolts loosened and were falling out during the first use. The lack of settings information for non-Scott's products is also disappointing. It would be helpful to get a general idea of which setting for lime for example

    Don't touch the edge guard lever!
    First off the lever is on the left side, but it blocks spreading weed and feed on the right side. But the edge gard does not contain the right side spread, it blocks it and it drops straight down to the grass . I have burn trails everywhere I used the Edge gard lever.

    Great Overall Spreader
    I finally got to use it recently and it was everything that was advertised. I especially liked the larger holder where 1 fill and I was able to fertilize the entire property without returning to my shed for a refill. It also gave the most accurate coverage of each line of grass I covered. It is a well engineered tool that i glad I bought. Well done Scotts!FRANK

    Great Business to Buy From!!
    I bought this about a month ago and it came earlier than expected. The box and product inside which is the "elite spreader" was well handled, with no scratches or dents at all even though it wasn't protected in the box. I'm glad I was home when it came because while the box is very heavy duty, I would have been bummed had it rained/snowed/melted and made the box weak, and possibly lose items or have to worry about drying it off to avoid any future issues. I don't have the ability to take care of my lawn all at once, so I make sure that what I do have is well taken care of by keeping the items clean, dry, and batteries charged at all times because I might be out for days after spending an hour working on something due to the pain I might be in. It just depends on the fronts and what I actually did during that time.

    Assembly & Fertilizer Test of the Elite Spreader
    The Elite Spreader is very easy to setup and very lightweight - can pick up the entire unit with two fingers. The large wheels make it easy to go over divots in the lawn and the coverage uniformity with a dual feed hopper is much better than the smaller spreaders I have used before. The hopper also will hold up to a 50lb bag. I have tested lawn fertilizer granules and grass seed with good success once you decide the right adjustment - there are actually 10 size adjustments to choose from. It also has an 'Edge Guard' that you can deploy from the handle to keep fertilizer or grass seed off of a landscape planting bed, and the coverage is still uniform.     Powerful spreader
    This spreader can easily hold a big bag of lawn seed, fertilizer etc. It spreads very well. I have a smaller lawn so I was done spreading after 3 passes. My lawn is about 2500 square feet in the front and close to the same amount in the back. Before I was using the Scott handheld spreader which really I thought did a good job just took a little more walking. This spreader is easy to maneuver and the tires moved smoothly across my lawn which has more dips than I would like. I liked that it has a holder for your cell phone in the front. This is definitely good for a large size lawn but for a smaller lawn, I'm not sure such a large spreader is needed. However, if you are looking to save time then this spreader will do it for you. Be careful to follow directions on setting and the pass width. It does throw out a lot of seed so if you are not careful you can use too much and you will be running to the store for more seed.     This spreader works so well and spreads the seed evenly over the grass. It was so easy to put together and very easy to use . It has so many setting that you just can't go wrong .It really live up to its name out best ever spreader I will never go back to using the hand held one .
