Seachoice Mushroom Anchor
It works well for the water conditions in our area where there is often a significant amount of tree debris in the bottom that would hang up other anchors. It does develop a significant suction affect if the bottom is soft and requires a lot of work to pull it free which can be a challenge in a kayak.

Not a good secondary anchor.
The product does not hold my 23 foot boat when used as a secondary anchor in the stern. My bow anchor holds fine but bought this to stop the bought from swinging back and forth.

    Truthfull concerns
    Price was increased 27% in the last year.i believe the 'box stores' took advantage of supply chain shortages on some items to increase prices on ALL ITEMS. Also, this was one of very few items not imported from China, PRC, who is clearly the enemy of the U.S. Greedy consumers need to be willing to buy American made at higher prices

    Perfect for a trot line
    This is exactly what I needed for my trot line. The vinyl coated helps the mud slide right off and the holes in the bottom makes it easier to bring off the bottom. The connection at the top makes it easy to connect to chain.

    Works great, best price I found anywhere.
    I looked at a lot of other sellers for this type anchor and they were all around $26-35, walmaet had it for $17! Just as good not if better than the other retailers, especially for the price. I like this anchor because it's design doesn't get caught and binded on rocks and other things at the lake/river floor. I have lost a few other type anchors due to that very reason.

    Swims like a rock
    Eight pound is perfect size for my 14' fishing boat. Plastic coating prevents rust and keeps it looking new. Holds tight to bottom of lake, doesn't catch many weeds when retrieving. Enjoys sleeping with the fishes.
